cuz the wii doesn't count, didn't you get the memo in "N4G for dummies"?
this is what i dont get. Ok, if you really use this skipping feature because you have an other OS installed, so be it.
But if you are just refusing the update because its not adding anything new, why go thru all the hassle? You act as if it made the system 15% slower or worse.
Never knew how many other OS users there were until this feature was removed.....
just enjoy ur games and STFU with this fake ass war
im starting to notice that when a multiplat performs better on 360 by even the smallest margin, its hailed as head and shoulders above the ps3 version but when it so happens that a ps3 multiplat has the upper hand, not matter the margin, some fanboys on the 360 side say " oh its nothing, if it wasn't side by side, you wouldn't notice a difference" or "gameplay over graphics"
Then some wonder why ps3 fanboys tend to gloat when a game comes out for their system ...
They never have released everything that a firmware update has in it, just the more immediate features that affects users. how do you know features weren't added but not released to the public?
unless you are a hardcore linux user and really enjoyed it on your ps3, im not sure how this affects some people. I'm sure some have a reason to be upset about this but im also sure that quite a lot of complainers here and in the next coming days have never used linux and had no plans on it. I bet there will be some that use this against sony.
How the fvck you gonna get mad cuz people are upset that they weren't able to play these new maps after they bought them? dude you needs to calm that sh!t down. Its not always someone hating on your "precious" game for no reason. If i purchase some DLC, i expect it to work right when i purchase it.
Those who got it and are a little perturbed that its not up and running have every right to be
it has nothing to do with hyping a game up because its a ps3 exclusive.
it was one of the best looking exclusives at the time of its release. now its one thing if you just dont like the game, to each his own. But you won't find too many that agree with you about the looks of the game. It garnered plenty of praise due to its graphical fidelity at the time of its release.
And for the last time, Kojima never said he hated how his game looked, he just wish he could have...
This game wasn't as good as some make it out to be. The story was decent at best but it was hampered by a horrible translation. I can't see them making a sequel to this game if one wasn't made for the ps2. I enjoyed it at the time but it hasn't aged well at all. Back then, i'd have given it an 8
Legend of Legaia was a much better rpg imo, both of them
you may not be a fanboy but thats some bullsh!t if you think the game looks horrible. It may not look like the best game ever, but it dam sure doesn't look bad like you are claiming dude. Get a better tv ( NB4 you post your tv specs )
As far as kojima not being satisfied, the man is a damn perfectionist, he is never satisfied and he even made a statement explaining what he meant by it. also, if you're claiming they threw out the engine, show some proof instead of pulling it from ...
use the claws of hades magic involving the gorgon, freezing the satrys and crushing them on the follow up
damn Santa Monica is fast, i think they just fixed it lol
unless Raztad edited his post,, he never said anything to defend Bundy, he only pointed out that its not just ps3 gamers that downplay games on a different system
You honestly think the game won't reach past the 1 million mark? It may not reach halo/ gears status but it will do well for itself. Ps3 gamers ( myself included ) often say that sales doesn't matter as much, especially if it has over the amount that warrants a sequel. So why should this be any different?
Also, i think people have been unfairly judging this game based on how bad Alone in the Dark was. Two different games by two different companies
Dead Space was probably one of the scarier games i've played this gen, but it wasn't as scary as some made it seem, at least to me. It was a lot of fun to me though.
Still haven't checked out Siren yet cuz i didn't have my credit card attached to my ps3 account, but may do so now.
It would be nice if Alan Wake turned out to be a good scary game since it seems to have that atmosphere going for it
Now odion, if only you could write a lot more articles to replace the mundane crap ( top 5 reasons/mgs4, ME2 to hit the other systemz ) we get from other articles thats nothing but flamebait, this would be a much better place in terms of fanboy wars.
Great read
Edit Below: Awesome, will look forward to it. I do agree that the buildup is lacking in horror games.
i really liked this game, it was fun and a lil different.
But im not sure if i will ever playthrough it again. Well i can't see it for the near future anyways. Other FF games always brought me back to it somewhere down the line, but with this one i don't see it happening.
Perhaps its because all of the other great games hitting ps3 and other systems, not sure.
you know, that music thats playing in the backkground when the kill is about to happen is pretty damn creep and epic. Its especially good when it kicks in during the fight you get the cestus from, never in a 1000 years did i expect them to put that in the game.
not really seeing what you are so worked up about...
