for the most part, when someone says a game on ps3 is the best looking game they have seen, unless they are delusional, they always note that they are talking about consoles and not pcs. Most gamers know pc is heads and shoulders above when it comes to graphics.

nogolis, remember those initial sales for the GoW series were pretty low considering the install base back then, some say its due to the 360 launching around the same tie as GoW2 and i can agree with that.
Even with its current install base, i think it will outdo GoW2
Why would you switch over your choice when the 360 version has been confirmed to be sub hd with such a nice tv like that? xbox live has nothing to do with this game. Getting the 360 version when you have a choice to get the version thats confirmed as being in hd is kinda foolish.
The difference is bigger than what some want to believe but not as big as others would say.
the face off read somewhat like he was letdown the 360 version wasn't the best of the 2. He went into detail on things but left out some other important things thats been mentioned a lot lately.
I think this article brings some strong arguments but could have been written a bit better so nay sayers wouldnt pin point fanboyish overtones.
this game looks great but im glad im not the only one who noticed how horrible that hit look from the harvester. Im sorry but that was horrid, but i still think the game looks great, for sure the best looking 360 title hitting the system so far

im somewhat expecting him to be a tad bit disappointed with soem of the game, his last piece about FF13 kinda has a negative tone about it, not knocking him at all though as i often visit the site, but i don't see it getting a score higher than a 8.9 from him and thats being generous

I don't agree or disagree with the score they gave this game since i haven't played it yet but that could have been written better on their part
you obviously know NOTHING about FF fans then, we are some of the hardest fans to please, the loud majority online all have a ff game that they think sucks, they aren't just blind sheep that love everything they put out, if it sucks they will let you know

GEC, although it looks better on the ps3, its not as if the 360 version is just a piece of sh!t, still looks decent. if it bothers you so much, just grab it on the ps3 then. But it really does sound like you just needed that extra reason to not buy from japanese devs and thats ok, its your choice.

last i checked, the other gow games had the same kind of effect, like when you combo an enemy into the air and you chase after them by holding the triangle button, when he jumps it slowed down to give it a more dramatic effect.
