These problems you speak of i have a hard time finding. The only problem is that not everyone has a mic, but as far as other things go im calling BS on it. If you prefer live, so be it but please point out these problems that the games you listed have, as im having a hard time finding these same things.
Its pretty rare when psn drops me from a game or has horrible lag and when that does happen, more than likely its the devs fault, like the drop games that tend to happen a bit...
much better than the first game for sure. the climbing is probably more user friendly in AC2 because you do quite a bit more of it

@ Reibooi: At first i thought that maybe back then i was spoiled by FF7 but i played plenty of other rpgs back then after FF7 came out and had fun with them, but Legend of Dragoon just seemed run of the mill. The only thing different was its addition battle system but to be honest i preferred the combo system of Xenogears and Legend of Legaia over it.
