It didn't disappoint me. At all.
I would have prefer no black and white filters and no "last seen position" silhouette, plus a few other minor things; including the (hopefully changed) non-customizable button mapping.
But this game FEELS good. It's action ala Jason Bourne, and that is f*cking awesome.
It is not, I"m a fast player, I go through games like hot knife on butter and my playthrough on NORMAL was 12 hours.
I'm sure you can skip hidden chests and all that, but that does not cut 3 hours off the game.
This is not a perfect game and a sh*t load of stuff could have been better, like MORE F*CKING WEAPONS; (SPOILER)you only get 4 and 3 of those are chain type arms. Gay, I know.
But despite my personal disappointments, the game is definitively...
I always liked the Arthas character and I think the Warcraft storyline been really cool (except most of the Wow timeline) I might pick this novel up myself.
Live free...
That's all.
The level of fanboyism in this thread is staggering; on both parts.
One day IF maturity kicks in you will realize how stupid these console wars are.
In the meantime enjoy being the vanguards of an useless cause. Good day.
edit: Good read, very informative article.

How's this for a "hidden feature:"?

Jesus, RE5 was a great game, a little less personal than RE4 but still a bad@ss title.
Not moving when aiming certainly has to go in next installments; but this was not game breaking or anything like that.
I would like for the RE6 an urban setting, more mobility and abilities and a solid plot. And no more majinis, onegai.
Edit:
Murderdolls: "Fixed camera angles like the originals (this was the scare factor)"
You are wrong, s...
What an a$$hole!
The guy rushed through it? Just to counter the developer post, lawl.
Fanboys are those who cannot own more than one console, FACT!
Console wars are boring, immature and a complete waste of time, FACT!
"Journalists" will write anything to attract attention, FACT!
Nintendo was cool once now it sucks bawlls, FACT!
Micro$oft pays for positive media exposure, FACT!
Sony (...insert something bad here can't of anything, srsly...) FACT!
Move got the moves, dudes!
It's by far better. And the Wii sucks, guys come on!
M$ payroll, dawg.
Once Digital Media distribution is powered on there are a couple of things developers and publishing companies can do:
*Establish pre-paid cards to be used online towards the purchase/payment of games through either your console or PC, ala Blizzard/Wow. This will substantially cover the users that don't have or prefer not to use credit or debit cards.
*Hyper fast direct download to your console drive or powerful streaming tech (Onlive) to minimize wait/traffic.

They are a pretty capable team, I'm pretty sure they can do another masterpiece. Still, I don't even want to even think about ME3, I just want to play it.
Let the creators do the creating.
Nice one. I wish more companies would do stuff like that.
Creativity is refreshing.
"Splinter Cell Conviction is out on Xbox 360 in April."
Also coming out on PC, some are omitting that little detail...
Now there's a hardcore dude.
Let it be a new IP plz. Action adventure!
I don't think we need this, nor I believe MS and Sony will let this go through with some sort of legal impediment and restriction regarding at least their respective exclusives. The market is very tight for a 4th competitor to jump in; seems almost suicidal.
The world needs to understand that gamers want more games, not more consoles and platforms; unless of course, it is a next generation console, with all kinds of upgrades and cool stuff.
I didn't understand ...
Nice read, many games are worthy of higher praise; praise that they do not get from every gaming person or respected news site.
Videogames are art, (8th art?) some of the most special titles are genuine masterpieces worthy of a crystal urn and nighttime security.
It is a matter of generations, I think. In the future this industry will most likely be appreciated as more than a money making mechanism and get more gallant ceremonies than the hideous VGA awards. Or it ...
Hmm, I don't know anymore. FF13 has very disappointing for me story and character wise. The English dub is f*cking horrible!
I think SquareEnix needs a decent team of at least 10 writers, producers and hardcore gamers from the West; not Americans necessarily, but professionals that can help them break out of the Japanese Highschool-only visual and spoken language thing. It needs to be more universal without having to be a Hollywood imitation; because that would suck too, I think....
