I agree he was the scapegoat MS needed to initialize the facelift of the Xbone.

We can only assume, of course; but either Matrick was smart enough to immediately look for a back up plan, or he had an offer already, or MS gave him the chance to be honorable discharged.

Either way, I don't think all the wrong things about the Xbone's deplorable reveal and subsequent fails were entirely the responsability of Don Matrick.

In fact, what M...

I don't know who disagreed with you; but I feel the same way.

With all due respect to Spielberg and his many accomplishments; how can someone who does not understand the thrill, sentiment and complexity of interactive entertainment be able to bring this concept to whole different media format successfully?

In my humble opinion, only a gamer or developer knows the intricacies video game experiences bring to the table. And this knowledge cannot be ignored o...

There is nothing to be upset about.
Spielberg and Lucas are from another generation, another time; they are largely ignorant to video games and to the level of entertainment these offer. Like most parents and 99% of old people.

Ironically, innovative film makers like them served as inspirational fountains for the developers of today's video game industry. And when Spielberg and Lucas were breaking new grounds in Hollywood, older creators initially frowned at thei...

I have to disagree with that.

RE fan here and yes, the game overall failed to connect with any kind of survival horror; the script, dialog and (most)characters were the worst in the franchise because it was f*cking awful.

Chris' campaign was a CoD wannabe, Leon uttered selfish and self centered one liners all the time. As a result these loved characters fell flat with their cheesy drama and cliched plot points.

However, the gameplay was ...

Gamestop is not promoting the xbone, but who can blame them? I wouldn't either.

I still think tho, that Gamestop has been ripping off gamers and developers for far too long. Now with whatever M$ is doing and with PS4's subsidized used games we may get some balance in. More money to developers is a good thing for the industry.

I just hope we don't get shafted somehow..

If I understand correctly, xbox one will always be actively connected when it is online. Now you must be online at least once every 24 hours to be able to continue playing your offline games.

Actively online: yes

Retarded for any number of practical reasons: that too

I don't think it should be personal, after all while he is the face of xbox one, I'm sure all the decisions are not only up to him.

However, those are the benefits and consequences of the profession. Deal with it, Don!

I am really hoping for the best here, as I'm sure most of you are.

To make the game more "accessible" does not mean to make it easier. It SHOULD mean that there is a proper learning curve that leads the player through increasing difficulty levels.

A completely optional tutorial feature that you can turn on and off could work very well here.

I for one, I'm not clear on this whole swap thing.
Kiefer is voicing Snake, the one called Big Boss who is the protagonist of MGS 5.

However, why the whole mystery with voice actor reveal? or the 2 games that are actually one or wtv? I think Kojima is distracting us from something important and Hayter might be in on it.
I don't want to get my hopes up; but could it be that Solid is making an appereance? Or getting his own game at some point?

I don't know, I loved the Arkham games; but the combat could've used some depth. Only one button for attacking always felt dangerously simple for the Batman, him being the ultimate martial artist.

Kinda disappointed that remains the same for the next title in the series.

I think it was Kevin Levine who explained the points stated above when Bioshock Infinite was getting all that crap for its cover.

Lol, seriously?

According to what we've learned so far from GT's previews is that Watch Dog's "hacking" is line of sight dependable and consists of a one button press once you are close enough.

Not exactly rocket science, folks.

Diablo 3 is very unimpressive technically, it has slightly improved World of warcraft graphics. So no need to have "rig" for that game.

I find it ironic that Blizzard is bringing that game to consoles when they didn't even cared about including controller support (or wasd movement) for the pc version.

YOU KNOW, when people act like this I can only think of how they are ironically exposing themselves as perverted people.

And being a little of a pervert is actually quite the natural thing; but you don't see everyone yelling:

"OH SHIT THE WIZARD IS GIVING ME A MASSIVE BONER!"

Note: the art design of this game is amazing, and it only makes sense that the women of this represented time period are as burly and voluptuou...

Here it comes,Nintendo fans and hopefuls trying to interpret a catastrophe into a good thing.

To each their own; but I think that being a in denial will only cause further disappointment. I love a great number of N's games; but as a company the just suck. It's been a series of bad and poor decisions one after the other; including a disturbing lack of technical improvement and an apparent fear of taking risks.

The took a very opportunistic shot with th...

I'm fine with consoles not having the same features a PC offers; otherwise they would all be boring copies of each other.

And honestly, it seems the next gen consoles are very well on the way to warrant their very own appeal.
