Yeah, yeah, Dark Souls 2 might've been a bit less in overall quality than the previous Souls games; however that title is ways ahead of any other game of its genre. To call it a disapoitnment is very unfair.
However the article does have a point, elements like soul vessels should return in some form for DS3.
The fans are getting tired of people complaining about Destiny.
Others are getting tired of people blindly defending it.
I'm tired of that subpar game getting so much attention.
Let it die in the sales bin where it deserves to be.
It's ok to freely choose whatever you wish to play.
It's should not be ok to support the biggest asshats in the gaming industry (Activision) and their newest puppets (necro-Bungie) with their half-assed game.
But it's up to you, mr player.
Just don't protest when everyone else goes "f*cking told you so."
IMO Batman: Arkham Knight is very good, I might even favor it over Arkham City.
But I'm seriously bummed Rocksteady still kept that insanely simplistic combat system. It's such a waste to only have 1 attack button that automates between punches and kicks.
No amount of bickering will give us any worthy titles to purchase this Fall either, so...
Can the "core console choice" team get on that, please?
Woah there, fanboy!
His "logic" is correct. Some people are just not into indies, and purchase a console just for the big games.
Some of those people argue that the only title worth having a PS4 for has been the flawless Bloodborne in 2 fricking years. Sure there's a couple of ports or "remakes" but those don't count.
Hey at least we got Nathan Drake Collection and God Of War III's third release to repurchase...
The article writer was most impressed by the CoD timed exclusivity announcement...
LOL
... but Sony won E3, you guys...
The true winner.
Yushei and Phil and really positive characters in the console scene.
The fact that they actually play games increases how relatable they are by a factor of 10.
There a LOT of power players in the industry that could certainly learn from them.
Danm, hopefully its real.
We've been good, we deserve this!
Quick FYI: It runs perfectly on high end PCs.
Even better with Nvidia's DSR(Dynamic Super Resolution) which lets you set the resolution from 2715 x 1527p to 3840 x 2160p(4k). Though at the highest resolution setting, even a 980ti has a few, minimal hitches.
Our testing included systems with these cards 970, 980ti, i5 to i7 processors, 1080p and 4k TVs, and a PS4.
The PS4 version looks amazing; but sadly it suffers from poor anti-aliasi...
Who's to say they won't?
If anything, FF7 remake would let them gain some perspective on how invested their customer demographic is regarding those older titles.
Sooner or later FF8 will get a shot, probably even 9, 10, etc.
Some of you are really militants in these console wars, aren't you?
Try to stop thinking like fucking drones, the companies are the ones that should fighting each other for your "loyalty".
This ain't different from those asswipes that maniacally call themselves "apple people", or the idiots that think their religion is the only truth, grow the fuck up, you stupid kids.
Chances are if you are a console fanboy its b...
No amount of change is risk free.
Great news. I bet Nomura and team had to fight real hard to do this, lol.
Console-exclusive zealotry, the worst kind of ignorance.
Thine wretchedness deems thee undeserving.
This reaction is typical of people that pessimistically and consistently reject technological enhancements to the video game (or any) experience.
Thankfully, those that create such enhancements break through those type of skeptical barriers, otherwise we would still be playing 2-D GAMES WITH ONE BUTTON STICKS ON A BLACK & WHITE CRT MONITOR WITH MONO SOUND, ffs!
...no multiplayer, man.
The fairly minor things that I disliked were the lack of ragdoll physics, less reflective textures (grimy walls, etc) and floaty character control.
And that fire effect ... looked like a PS2 thing. In fact MGS 1 had cooler explosions, lol.
