Microsoft owns everything Halo. You know those Halo posters and the halo faceplate for 360? Does Bungie get a cent? No. Microsoft does. Maybe on Halo 3 stuff Bungie gets paid, but Microsoft owns the Halo franchise and unless they're going the way of Sega, dont expect Halo on PS3 any time soon.
For those crying for backwards compatibility finally get it. The 20gb PS3 has both the Emotion engine and Graphics synthesizer, making 99% of PS2 games work flawlessly with it. Oh boy, would I like to see this sold at retail this holiday for $349. And, before xbox boys come in and say "RIP OFF NO WIFI!!" Don't forget. Neither XBOX 360 ever made has ever had wifi, at any price.
HDMI is standard in every PS3. Sony's not going to randomly add it in 11M consoles later.
6k+ in 1 week? Nice Microsoft! That's almost as much as Sony sold in 1 month! IF this trend continues, Sony might actually have some competiton in Japan(Wii's not competition).

Makes me sad on my PS3 purchase. I paid $659 + tax making it $752 for my PS3 at launch. I could've got the same 60gb unit for $510 after tax. Best buy has the 60gb on sale for only $449cdn.
Can't wait to see how much this game sells. Early ratings gave it a 9.7, so here we have it. The first AAA exclusive game on PS3. Backed with a 1Mpound marketing campaign in Europe alone, this game can't fail.
That box looks way better. I kind of regret buying in at such a high price point and lack of software now :(

Sony would've mentioned it, and retail stores are showing no signs of low supply on the Motorstorm 80gb bundle.
Easily the best console game I've evern seen in terms of graphics. Naughty dog is definitely doing a lot to tap the power of PS3, and if this game lives up to the promise, I will never have to hear "360 games look better than PS3" every again.
I reaaaly hope this isn't for the Japan territory only. I'd love to play GT5 prolouge demo this week.

This is much better than the 1UP yours podcase IMO. I only listened to 1 of them during E3 with the hosts and Ngai Croal and they are just such annoying fanboys(except Ngai ofcourse). They all spoke like they were nerds or british, and one guy is like "Im going to buy a PS3 now because at $500 it's a heck of a good bluray player!" Then the moron laughed by himself for 5-10 seconds, with no response...
Anyways, I hope Uncharted lives up to the hype and is the true AAA ...
Everyone down here loves 360. I have a lot of friends who bought it this month for Halo 3 alone, but don't know anybody who bought a PS3 this month, for any reason. And even though I expected 360 to outsell PS3, I never expected it to outsell Wii.
Let me say 1 thing:
1. 360 will never sell as much as PS3. I don't care if FFX13 comes out exclusively for 360, it won't sell more. I've been to Japan and they treat 360 like it's trash. It's not really a "cool" icon. It's like buying a Zune in North America. Everyone has iPods, but only a few morons buy a Zune.

Resistance is easily my favourite FPS on PS3, and one of my favourites of all time(up there with Half life, and Unreal). I can't wait for a sequel! 40 player online multiplayer, compelling single player, awesome cool weapons, great maps/environments all on a launch title! I cant wait to see what Insomniac will be doing for their 3rd gen ps3 title!
If we could get that feature permeated across every game and feature on the console, I dont see how Microsoft could justify charging for XBL.

Sony is able to offer the core of online for free - gameplay. Microsoft does the same on PC. All these extra things like Achievements, gamerscore, etc. are luxuries and not everyone wants them. However, if someone goes online, they want to PLAY online. I don't care if I can private chat with my buddy. I care about if I can kick his arse in Halo.
