if a 1st party PS3 dev were to make a multiplat game, they would most likely make the best looking game in the market, because of all the techniques they learned when making PS3 games look good and perform almost as good as a PC game.

i dont think most doubt Cry Engine 3's visuals. Problem is people think that they are not putting any effort into pushing the bounderies even more because its focus is getting the engine and of course crysis to run on consoles this time.
Keep in mind Crysis 1, although a power hog, is still the current benchmark for visuals.

the only thing that got me interested in taking a look at the demo was the shooting mechanics when you played as clank. there was no dead zone.
