EDIT: disagreeing on the fact that you insulted on a game that is very immersive and takes the gamer to think on how to design/create a level makes you lose your credibility dude. LBP is the newgrounds of gaming, and it has unlimited amount of hours of replayability unlike Homefront, a game that just got torn apart by the reviews.

yes, it can last for 10 years, as long as the freaking 3rd party developers start taking advantage of those 6 cores and make them work in tandem with the RSX.

ok let me rephrase that for the schizophrenic few, the cell can do a few GPU functions, which is why first party companies moved a few of those functions to the cell processor. one such function is anti-aliasing. it is the reason why i wonder if Crytek has fully taken advantage of it to free up power of the RSX.

yea, sometimes i wonder, did they really take full advantage of the cell processor? I mean the cell processor isnt there to be a cpu, its also there to act like a gpu as well.

CryEngine 3's purpose is to finally bring what was CryEngine 2 to consoles. if they wanted to, they could of continued to upgrade CryEngine 2, just like how epic continues to upgrade their UE3 engine.
CryEngine 2 was a resource hog, just imagine CryEngine 2 on consoles, they would explode at the instant that you run Crysis on it.
plus there was a financial reason for CryEngi...
keep in mind, this is a native feaure thats built-in the PS3 and its dev kits, and developer can take advantage of this in order to maximize the multiplayer experience with others, just like XBL.

idk i think by now, if you played an EA Sports game, you know what to expect by these games which features the same gameplay every year, plus they show you how to play on the game tutorials its self.
