i just played it at my local gamestop. cant say im impressed on the 3d side of things. Things do pop out and its impressive that nintendo was able to bring that that tech into a handheld, but it really wasnt a big deal. Visually though, the game looks great, and stands up among the console version.
this is what working in McDonalds looks like, on LSD...
thats why you develop on PSN for indie development. Sony Gives you the freedom and the creativity to do your game.
On top of that, theres that pub fund in case if you game becomes disastrous.
FACT: EA will always be developing on every platform no matter what. when they see money, they chase it. Just like Activision.
well, wasnt that obvious?
i love the fact that they brought health packs back. it makes the game much tactical and harder, not to mention realistic, considering that you are a human against a horde of monsters that are hell bent on destroying your species.
it also reminds me of great shooters like Half-life 2.
will it run like s**t on my PS3? no thanks...
is this still april fools?
Agent is a new IP, cross that out your list.
ME3 has already been revealed. cross it out your list.
MegaMan Zero was great too. played the whole franchise from beginning to end.
metal fantasy solid
to me, the social networking features are important, in that they have to make sure its on the platform Day 1, that way devs can take advantage of it and not half *ss their games.
in fact most of the social networking features we wanted out of the PS3, or the social networking features that are already on the PS3, should be implemented on NGP.
"In order for Sony do price it at that point, they would have to remove something from the PS3 itself."
or they have to wait till the tech gets cheaper to make.
thats probably the reason, the game was not up to par to SOE/Sony's standards.
yea, NGO should open up to non-game apps, just to make full use of the system.
yea its a game handheld first, but the fact that theres GPS and 3G available, and due to its ridiculous power, there are some apps out there that can take advantage of this, like netflix (this one's expected since the 3DS is getting it and sony so far has good ties with netflix) or hulu+.
they should open up a non-game app store page in the PS store for it.
well, it was expected that non-game apps will appear on the system.
hopefully we get more non-game apps on launch.
i feel sorry for the 200 people that just got layed off more so than the game.
this is the first time in a while i hear sony laying off devs.
LOL
