I really hope Sony doesn't do this with the ps4.
that's why i was so surprised when i heard that they were killing the online pass. it was too good to be true.
Sony used Microsoft to talk about these plans, keeps them with their hands clean for the time being.
this is just plain scary for both sides.
I think it is time for these companies to come clean. this is a major issue, since these are suppose to be consoles.

you know, i would like to hear a response from companies that rent games, like gamefly, and see what they think, and im sure its not positive at all.

If Sony said this, I would doubt it as well. In fact ken kutiragi mentioned it back then. And I called it a pr bs back then.
This is the biggest sounding pr bs I've ever heard. If the cloud was really going to push computational power, we would of been shown a demonstration in that reveal just to shut our traps. But you know what they didn't, it's all about this "potential" they talk about, like how they showed kinect when it was called natal in the early days. That's why it's bs.

Hopefully that comes with a price cut, including memory cards. If Sony wants this to be the companion device for the ps4, then it needs it.

$400 has to be the price, that's the sweet spot for this system.
They should also anticipate on what Microsoft is going to do, sell their system with a low price with a xbl contract.
