With every comment I read from this individual, I find it exceedingly difficult to believe he is genuine.
This is trolling at its finest...
lol, it's the same with the mandatory installs. The 360 fans will make a huge deal over it while the PS3 fans seemingly don't care....
It's apparently a sad state of affairs.
Both sides are as bad as each other, one cannot simply pinpoint one side to direct their frustration against.
General aggression is probably classed as weak violence.
Physical harm is a level up, death may be included in the level depending on the circumstance..
Gore and blood orientated things are strong violence...
Infamous = mild-standard violence
Prototype = Strong violence
Ontopic: The blood effects in Skyrim look great from what I've seen. This is probably why they have classified it as so..
Though, I have ...
They seemingly make mountains out of molehills, though I can't be sure until I play it myself...
All I know is that the first instalment of a new iP is always a bit rough around the edges, But this is a concept I am really interested in and if it sells well enough (which it will) There will surely be a sequel which should hopefully polish on the first....
honest review, honestly there are some games that NEED a good narrative, but others that are just great because of game play.
This looks like one of those, I won't care about the story if the game is amazing. I'm glad they focused on that instead of spending time fleshing out a half decent tale..
Would be a day 1 for me but I'm going to Bestival so it will have to wait until I return..
@qwertyz
LOL, you always write the same thing, you and your lists...
Its rather amusing...
Yeah, disk changing really isn't too much of an issue, although it is quite retro.. For me and most others it will be where your amigo's are... Same with dead island, The Xbox version is supposedly less buggy, making it the superior version on consoles, but I will get it on PS3 just because I want to play with my friends on there. Same with BF3, My friends are there so I will get it for that ps3 instead of PC, if most of them were on Xbox, I would get the 360 version.. I would not fee...
well said... Armchair developers, meh....
I would not worry, The Ps3 version will still be great, Look at game play on youtube... Multiplats are never exactly the same on all platforms.. I was going to get this for my Pc but as it has some really interesting co-op features I want to play with my friends, who mostly have PS3's. I have no problem with it being slightly less buggy on the 360. A great game is still a great game,just be grateful it's on your platform.
@reynod Its also funny how one set of fanboys gets generalised by other sets of equally pathetic fanboys. ALL fanboys are hypocrites...
How can people hate a company so much? especially one that caters to gamers! These people are beyond my comprehension...
All I know is I've only had to buy one Sony product this generation. One 60gb PS3 at launch, and it's on course to get me through the whole gen, it seems to be the highest quality console on the market, that's my perspective gained through personal experience and through conversations with others.
How can you hate them so much? ...
I was thinking this, and also the hack...
Bad decisions are inherent in business, but Sony has had some pretty tough luck this gen and an uphill climb all the way.
Compare this to their progress and I find it hard to say they did not to well, They have accumulated an extremely large and loyal fanbase, they have the support of many dev's who praise their decisions.
Although I'm not familiar with the tech side of Sony's empire, as far as gam...
Msxbox has become a single serving site...
Are those his stats IRL?
totally agree, I mainly enjoy the depth of battlefield but I'm always up for a COD session.
I does have a place in the industry, no fast paced arcade shooter can match it...
However the asking price is the killer point for me and I have no idea how they justify maintaining it so high even months after release.. (with the same engine for over 4 years)
This is something they NEED to do in my book, previous dev's released glitchy games because of the lack of a beta...
I doubt they will though, and I think it has something to do with Activision......
@Imalwaysright
"No. Art style is subjective and plays a big role on how a game looks"
To a certain extent that's true, but that would be part of the aspects I mentioned that were subjective. You may not like the art syle of a certain game, but if the graphics are undeniably complex, high res and fluid, then undeniable is the games quality.
For example, if I said I didn't like the art style of Muramasa, it would be perfectly ...
Dead Island and SOtC for PS3.
@gamingdroid
While you are right in certain respects, Quality is not subjective.
While some person may dislike a game for being to violent, another may jump at the scene and scream YEEAh! absolutely loving it. Maybe a specific game will seem boring to one person, touching on subjects they may not be interested in, while the same game may be something totally intriguing to another. Different things appeal to different people, and a game can be interpreted in many diff...
I don't agree, Installation has been a part of software in general for a very long time, There are real benefits to installation, and If you are given the option to install anyone with a basic knowledge of how software works would be inclined to do so... The time is no issue, There are benefits, regardless of whether you have a choice or not, installing is the way to go.
Disk swapping is not an issue, its a slight immersion breaker at best. however you can not compare it ...
