yeah if anything it just irritates me, especially when it's way too close to the player, looks ugly, getting hot under the collar just thinking about it.

I will get it for PC eventually I guess, I'm kind of torn on this one. I really want the PS3 version to improve come release, I would really like to play with the vast majority of my online companions which are on my console. But the jaggies, especially in the shadows of some of those trees.. Ugh!
On my PC they are so sharp and frostbite 2 really shows what it's designed to do....
Hope they add more AA to the ps3 come release..

LOL it needs to be that way, In CQC its very useful as you can blind people quite effectively.
Its a good addition if you ask me, but the weirdness of it on PS3 needs to be sorted...
On the ps3 beta, I can get under the floor at will.
Also when you have a flashlight on your gun, If you have the sensitivity above 3/4, you seem to move faster than the light.. This is a huge immersion breaker for me I may go report it now lol....
When me and my friends play we use the text chat...It can be used regardless of what game your on, it can be accessed with the press of a button and you can have multiple rooms open for different groups of people...
We all have usb keyboards hooked up as well so we chat fast.
I think this feature is largely overlooked and hugely unappreciated.... When you get in game the mic's come on.. may be a bit slower, but is the result not the same?
when I play online with my friends the bro's, I can always hear both of them (they are in the same room)
Mine will play all my PS2 games. Sometimes there are benefits to being an early adapter...

Its true that operation metro feels like a COD map.
I have been getting ridiculous kills with the pistol and sniper that I usually only get on COD. At least the recoil is far better than most games I have played...

You can't really compare a multiplatform game to an exclusive coded with the PS3's strengths and weaknesses at its core. They will look better and perform better...
DICE may have optimized for the PS3 but they can only optimize so much without re writing whole parts of the game. They obviously didn't have the time to do this, no developer would, an exclusive has the advantage of being developed for that type of architecture...

Yeah I was wondering about that, I have my firmware up to date instantly after its released, otherwise you can not play ANY game online.
This indicates that he is not much of a PS3 user...
Although if you leave your system unattended for a while getting back into the gaming can be quite time consuming. Most of my games have updates that need to be done to play online, and they accumulate..
For those with slow internet this can be a major downer. Luckily for me...
Hmm, I will see how much of an improvement Uncharted 3 is over 2. This will give a good indication as to how this gen is progressing.
As ND said, it's all about making the code more efficient.
I like the gameplay and the animations are great, really love the way the gun moves and how he crawls while prone, spot on.
I have been playing both PC and PS3 versions of this game,
I am aware that there will be improvements to the final game.
Hopefully they can add a slight bit more AA to the PS3 version as there seems to be none at all, the distance is supremely jaggy and I would rather lower res textures to lack of AA. Compromises need to be made to old hardw...
