I think the beta (on PS3) looked notably worse than BC2 definitely.
I wasn't sniping pixels on BC2.
But Caspian boarder on pc was amazing, I couldn't find the edges of that map. I kept dying because I was exploring..... If they can capture that essence I'll be getting it for ps3 as well...
Dude, you are crazy, I have most of those games on pc and the only thing better is framerate and resolution.
When you get wet in uncharted Drake comes out dripping and slowly dries, his clothes are visually damp and look vividly wet. No pc game I have accomplishes this as effectively. And this was in uncharted 1
As far as animations go, characters react to their environment, Drake will put his hand on a wall if near it, he will loose footing on uneven ground...

I'd say the games are both different enough that one can not claim to be superior to the other.

I seem to remember there being a cow gun on the south park game for n64. You could launch them and the cow would engulf your Target anus first for a slow death.

But its undeniable that when two games are put side by side, regardless of the art style. graphics can be compared.
Framerate, texture quality, particle effects, polygon count, shaders, animation count, AA.
