I miss the good 'ol days of pre-FFVII. Back when FF was really FF.
FFX sucked honestly. Extremely linear and had a cheesy love story and dialogue. The only redeeming thing about the game was its battle system. Aside from MMO's, XII was the last good FF.
FF IV-VI deserve remakes in the same vein as VII before any of the rest.

Am I correct in you saying that FF16 isn't very FF? It's looking to be one of the purest single player FF's to come out in decades. It actually feels like FF again.

Give FF Grandia's combat system but evolved a bit.
I mean we don't "need" it, but yea, I miss it and wouldn't mind it coming back.

Sadly, I think I have to agree with the only notable exception being FF XIV. Long gone is the mighty Squaresoft of the '90s.
