Rather disappointing. I would expect PS5 & XSX to hit 4k 60fps pretty easily.
Of course.
@ Vengeance1138 "Any other high profile title will take 3-4yrs as normal."
Except there is no "normal" really, as games are releasing to PC at different rates, and Sony is still testing the waters in many ways, and decisions on how to move forward on the PC front are still being made.
I never pay full price for games on PC. Always wait for sales.
It's one of the major complaints I've always had with R*; that their controls and game physics never evolved with the times.
The disdain for games coming to PC that were previously console exclusives is really childish. There really isn't any justification for the hate. If they want to game on console, they can continue to do so unhindered. What are these people scared of?
Where the hell is Eternal Darkness?
Would it be too much to ask for a new installment of old-school Shining Force?
I liked the atmosphere of the first game more, but the second game did a lot of technical stuff much better. Both really good games either way.
@barom I'd never excuse people not wanting to learn. Ugh
Why would Sony do that? They make more money selling software on a platform that they don't have to lose money on selling you in the first place. There's no need for Sony to try and "lure" PC gamers to the PS5. It wouldn't work like that anyway.
Bloodborne coming to PC. Please be a thing.
Haven't spent money on Nintendo in 20 years.
Sooo, PC it is.
I guarantee that Sony isn't going to let things like slogans and semantics get in the way of their money train.
'Similar' and "Same' aren't synonyms.
I remember reading/hearing that Sony planned to bring a lot more games to PC, but never that they were only exclusively older titles.
"Exclusives being ported to PC are a good thing now?"
When was it ever not?
"Some of the uber fanboys on here said it was bad when Xbox exclusives were ported to PC."
Those uber fanboys would be Sony fanboys, which is why it was used as ammo against Xbox fanboys. So it seems the sentiment is consistent. Sony fanboys saw it as a bad thing which is why it was ammo for them against Xbox fanboys, and now that it'...
Perhaps, but once they get a real addiction for the money they're making on PC, they may be much more inclined to release newer games (PS5) long before they are deemed 'old'. I imagine they make more selling software on a platform they don't have to sell you than on one they lose money on selling you, even despite them making more per game selling them in their own store. Idk for sure though.
And those aren't even Sega's best IPs. Sega has a huge catalog of franchises they could and should revive.
