lol i hear that, but what im saying is. Is it necessary at this time. I mean most dont own hd tvs, and when you thought about it, the average house hold runs on budgets people have expenses, children etc. It's my personal beleif that all this hd stuff won't catch on until another 5-10 years, its just not practicle at this point, i mean it hasnt been that long before people began to embrace dvd's.
you guys do know when crazy ken, and bill gates and all these big wigs are waving around the consoles like this, that in actuality there just empty cases. When was the last time you held your 360 like this?
The xbox 360 games look great in hidef, and if you want to talk about movie play back then i gotta tell you, progressive scan dvd players, dvd, and hi def tv's go hand in hand it looks great. hd dvd or blue ray i mean is it really necessary?
The ability to put your own music on the xbox 360 was my whole reason for even wanting a 360. Im a music fanatic and just thought it was great to be able to do this and play them in every game if i chose to. I have over 400 songs or so on my harddrive with 11gb left.
The sound is incredible and to have it playing while im playing my games is the greatest thing. Its the reason i went from panting after the ps3 to really being more interested in the xbox 360. I love it.
lol, i hear you buddy but your zeal and passion for all of this really just shows me how you are influenced by all the hype, and that's cool. But realistically the masses don't share your enthusiasm on this not to say what you were saying is wrong but it kinda goes back to what i was saying about the timing, the masses are just not ready for all this at once. Its just not practicle for the average consumer. With families and budgets.
sony should have stuck with conventional dvd's, they are banking on a format that hasnt been established by the people yet. Like they did with the ps2. Ms went with conventional dvd's. I said it previously and i'll say it again, blue ray and hd dvd in consoles is too soon maybe next round of consoles can benefit from it.
If you click on my icon and look at my comment, i just posted a similar thought before before i read yours. I think that pushing this blue ray is too soon. It'll be more practicle in the next round of consoles not now.
i was thinking. it's very interesting to me that you would state that. I was just thinking the other day about the very subject but kinda shrugged it off. But i was saying, as much as i like my 360 i hope that they don't stop supporting it after a few years in adventures of their next ms console. Especially seeing as how the software support is slow and we are anticipating its growth, it'll be a shame to abandon it for the newest technology. I was actually wonderin about this.

lol wow, saying that gta had no effect on the ps franchise is really really Kocky and stupid. I have to admit, that when i bought my ps2 and my buddy bought gta 3 and that was before the masses even was aware of it, we played it at his house and i went out that night and bought it and cant help but to remember feeling like damn, the ps2 is sooo hot. All because of gta 3, then i ended up with gta vc and sa so they cant really be serious.

If MS do any price drops, i dont see them doing more than $20.00. After all its still a new system it'll be around a year old and if we really wanted to go there then $50.00 at best. But $100.00 for the first price drop i dont eveeeen see that happening.
i think that more people care about vibration, then the ones who don't. The 360's vibration is awesome but you can also just turn it off if you chose to. I did just to see how it would affect gaming and to be honest, i havent turned it back on since. Im playing GRAW real heavy these days and its just pure fun, even with no rumble. But to be honest i think not having it at all does suck tho. But its not the end of the world.
I applaud MS for their proactive thinking and actions in gaming, not relying on gimmicks and things. Im sure the new controller would be sweet, and they are reallllly making the sony controller look like a joke, im saying this not to start a flame war but because it really does seem that way to me.
