mine never did and i had it since dec 24, 05. But i do think that if yours did over heat it was because it was put in an enclosed shelf. But if you put it out in an open area you'll be fine. i love my 360 and never had these rumored problems. my slim ps2 gets hot!!!!!!! but you never hear peope talk about it..hmmm wonder why?????

lol sony is wild. I mean yeah these gaming consoles are becoming more and more sophisticated but when its said and done they are just that. Gaming consoles.
How can it not succeed? People are ready for the newsystems and not to mention that it's already endorsed my both MS and Sony. Plus it's the next gen from nintendo and it'll be cheaper than the 360 and ps3. If the price clocks in at around 199.99 then right then its success is pretty much a sure fire. I think more people can afford 199.99 then 400.00 to 600.00.
I can't help but to feel that nintendo is really going to do big things with it's little system.
Man, so many people put down the 360 which is a great system as far as im concerned but they give all this credit to the wii. But to be honest if you look at the specs of the wii, it'll be just about the same as the original xbox, and will output at 480p, and all the games will be on dvd's. Now that's not a bad thing by anymeans and i know that the developers are going to do a great job but, The 360 is a way more powerful and capable machine so why is it so hated?

The 360 is an awesome machine but seriously they need to catch on the software support asap. I figured they're trying to ambush sony but i mean, lol when is sony coming out 07, 08?? Who know's. But in the mean time MS is really skimping with the games.
