Lol! The Darkness 2.
I really hope Nomura hits this one out of the park.
Frankly, I haven't heard much of anybody touting this gen as the best ever. On the contrary, it's an embarassment, one big homogenous fps fest, record breaking hardware failures, hacked networks, having to pay for stuff that used to be free unlockables in previous generations, fanboy flaming that makes the rivalry of Sega and Nintendo back in the day look like a friendly game of squash. This generation has been pathetic.
The numbers are large because the 360s given away for free with a pc campaign is included.
Generic fps # 2399688666 reporting for duty.
Implement move and shoot mechanics and make larger areas for exploration, bring back the horror and atmosphere. Simple really.
Indeed, I really like the procedural damage and how the bots keep coming at you even when their legs are scrap.
No, it really does look great. Back to your tomb Ramses.
Too bad Crytec doesn't know squat about making solid and fun gameplay.
Agreed, the Unreal engine is rather crap. Also from a subjective standpoint, I'm not digging the artstyle of the samaritan demo at all.
The faces look better than the creepy LA Noire one's that's for sure, especially the guy with the gun that rips off his own mug. Will be keeping my eyes on this one.
Never a fan of any AC storyline? Not even 5, 0 or the incredible 4? Wow, you must hate videogame storylines or just have really poor taste in general.
FF12 is a great game and is undeserving of some of the hate it gets. Vast, open worlds, one of the best-written scripts in videogaming and a mature story where the politics of a fractured world take precedent over individual characters. I admit that the inclusion of Van and Panelo was unnecessary, but that was a side effect of Matsuno's departure from the project halfway through.
Naw, while Eurogamer is rigid (and they definately bungled the RE4 wii review) they are pretty good overall. Sterling at Destructoid, Xplay, Ign, these are the ones I would be concerned about. CVG is no longer a factor, thankfully.
Yes, he was rough on Assassin's Creed 2. The breaking point for me was his Vanquish review. He blatantly got aspects of the gameplay wrong. (ex. After missing on a melee attack he said the suit would overheat. On the contrary, if the player missed with a melee strike, there was no overheat penalty.)ect, ect.
Next stop, kill off the AIAS. That body is more corrupt and steeped in controversy than any website.
Hoping for the best for PES.
You want to see Link as a weathered 40 something wearing a 3 inch thick leather jacket? No thanks, if Samaritan is the future look of games, I'll find a new hobby.
I, for one, will not miss Levine's games on WiiU. Bioshock was a massive flop on the PS3, so those that are interested in furthur shock games will probably be getting it on the next Xbox system.
Hate to see Bryan Cranston affiliated with such an overrated, crud game, even if it is the work of some basement dweller.
