Jrps will one day make a comeback, they may evolve into a different form that looks nothing like past iterations in the genre (The Souls games and Megami Tensei games come immediately to mind). Still when it comes to sales, Jrpgs are still the heavy hitters: Pokemon, Monster Hunter, KH, FF,DQ.

Love the generalization this trog uses as his M.O. in regards to Japanese narratives only using spikey haired preteens for narratives, play Tactics Ogre: LUCT on the psp and then come back with that lame generalization. Wearing your bias on your sleeve aside, Catherine is a fantastic game and much more deserving than a 5/10.
