Most operating systems are re-usable. This build was categorized under our 'upgrade build' category, which assumes that you've already got your peripherals.
It is literally just the box and the PC. Why should we include an OS? It's a PC build. It isn't part of the article to cover software, only hardware.
The skill level does not warranty a report -- the story is a legitimate story and still conveys its point.
The point is to stress test the platform and engine.
That PSU is plenty. Unless you OC the GPU and CPU, it'll be fine. People tend to have a habit of grossly overestimating the power requirements of hardware.
And whose fault is that?
I hear your complaints, but this is silly. The company spends the money, hires the developers, and does all the hard work. You decide whether to play it or not. Until you're working in management and making decisions on the game's features, consumers don't have a voice. The only voice a consumer possesses is exhibited by whether a product is purchased or not.
Don't feel entitled. Just as readers don't dictate what an author writes, gamers don't get to ...
I don't know how you made yourself play this, but I suppose you deserve props for surviving.
Much agreed. I wanted a professional implementation of the multiplayer mods that have been released for Oblivion and Skyrim -- if a modder can make it happen to some limited extent, surely the developers could implement it more cleanly.
I suppose that's what that whole "Hunted: Demon's Forge" was supposed to be. Wait, what's that? No one remembers it?
Oops.
I don't think you understand how the word "trolling" is supposed to be used.
Underground 3.
You actually think the gameplay mechanics are good? I find the AI terribly lacking and the game exceedingly easy and boring. I want to get through dungeons not because I want to get to the next level, but because I'm bored out of my mind.
Are you kidding me? More affordable, sure; but better? They're both fantastic builds, but enthusiasts have a clear choice, as do budget builders.
There's a very well-defined divide in who the technology of each company is targeted toward.
Thanks for commenting!
We do one per month at a minimum and vary configuration options based on budget.
The error was fixed earlier. Cheers!
Silicon wafers are so purdy o.o
Count me as jealous. I wonder what their profit margin is like? I hope one goes up near me some time soon...
Yeah, it seems that IB has some voltage leaking issues. If money allows, I'm a huge fan of the enthusiast lines (the X-series chipsets), but otherwise I agree: wait on Haswell if you are already on SB. Honestly, though, even SB should be solid for another few years. The only real reason to upgrade (as ever) is boredom or obsolescence, the latter takes forever for CPUs.
It's a tick. I personally wait for tocks to upgrade.
"Slipped past QA" is probably incorrect - I would guess that it's a time/money issue: The developers didn't have the time to fix the lower priority issues.
