No thanks! Still an underpowered console with poor TV output resolution. In a year they’ll put out another console and you’ll have to buy it to play all of the remastered versions 5x over of the games they currently have. And remastered version three of Mario Kart 8 because they’re too lazy to make a new Mario kart game.
PlayStation Direct, turn on notifications, request an invite to buy. Won’t be instantaneous but when you get the invite, you will be able to buy no problem. Got mine in June at retail. Be online a minute before the time and have your payment information, etc ready to go on your account.
Now compare that to Spider-Man. Xbox exclusive vs Sony exclusive. This is why PS5 sells 2-1 more units.

I got the PS4 version for $15, so I have no issue paying $30 for the updated PS5 version. My only problem is I will now wait a month to resume playing the game to see it in its native PS5 glory.
