Why revisit 2D side scrollers like we had in the late 80’s and early 90’s in the first place?
I think there are 2 factors:
1). Gamers are too young and didn’t play these same games for over a decade.
(Just like my young nearby neighbors don’t mind door-to-door sales people. Something that older dudes like myself absolutely despise.)

Essentially, they are saying, we made great profits, but we want to make more so we are gonna charge you more for it.
Tariffs don’t have anything to do with that just they’re just using that as an excuse. You can buy the games digitally, why would you need to go up on the price of those?
My Xbox series X is the very last Xbox console that I will ever buy. If it weren’t for a couple of franchises from a generation ago, I wouldn’t even keep it.
I’m old. Grew up on Star Wars and later He Man toys, which were my favorite. I will definitely buy this for the sake of nostalgia.

As a PS5 Pro player, I can tell you the Pro outperforms the XSX. Loads faster, Games look and play better.
It’s simple, port the Xbox exclusives to PS5. Integrate the superior dual sense controller functions. Make money.
