This system isn’t comparable to Switch, it’s not portable.
If it’s the more powerful console, it should be your go to as a primary console. I play on Xbox One X and it is the best console right now.
Most games are multi-platform anyway. Very few exclusives either way.
NBA 2K20 was the climax for last gen. I love the game, but I just picked it up the legendary edition for $25 on Xbox One X 2 months ago. That gives you some MyTeam and VC instead of starting off grinding or buying VC.
You should avoid paying full price for this or any other game and wait a couple of months for a discount.

Terrible naming convention. PS5 makes much more sense from that standpoint.
Once you go with numbers, you do get stuck in a naming convention. This should be Xbox 2S and Xbox 2X. Makes much more sense.
The message is confusing. Primarily they should have released details about the 2 consoles simultaneously. My understanding is that the Series S is less powerful and is digital only, but I’m not 100% certain because of their messaging.

Backwards compatibility and enhanced games are their #1 features in 2020. Very few new games.
PS5 has lesser specs and very limited backwards compatibility.
