Or even further than that, Microsoft has yet to officially state that peripherals are going to be used as they are touting that "You are the controller"
I agree with both of your comments by the way.
The Last Guardian, Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid Rising, Child of Eden, and not on the list but Verses XIII is also right there.
I have my eyes on Project Dark and Asura's Wrath.
Right, I get that some standard controller games could also be using Kinect in some form or fashion, but how do you make gestures with your hands when they are both on the controller?
Even one handed, I mean the 360 controller is comfortable and all but its going to fly across the room sooner than later headset hooked to it and all.
I'm almost 30 and I picked up Eye Pet, don't love it but its kinda fun tech to play with.
Kinectimals just dose not look like its fun, even for small children.
Honestly, dose anyone really think that Kinectimals looks good?
My only problem with Kinect is that there is zero "force feedback" or what ever you want to call it.
Just from my experiences playing with the Eye Toy and and the PS Eye the interactions never feel quite right, I was always feeling like, am I touching or hitting the relevant object?
Like in Eye Pet, everything you do with the PS Move feels great, the game maps objects over the controller in your hand and provides feedback so you know when contact ...
L.A. Noire needs to be close to the top of that list along with Infamous 2 and maybe Agent will hit in 2011.
This is exactly why Sony AND Nintendo past on this tech years ago. While I am sure it has improved some it is just not piratical for gaming.
Hypocrisy?
My problem has never been with motion controls, but more with how poorly the Wii tracked my motions, even after Wii Motion Plus it just never felt quite right.
Move just delivers the performance that I've wanted out of the Wii for the Past 4 Years.Move just confirmed the Wii as a gimmick.
I have yet to see anyone say they hate the Wii. Everyone just agrees that PlayStation Move works better.
Nintendo still has all of its exclusive IP's and the 3Ds is right around the corner.
"Now all of those hardcore PS3-owning people who spent the last four years bashing the Wii and its controller can indulge in a spot of furious backpeddling."
Hey, no back peddling needed! My problem has never been with motion controls, but more with how poorly the Wii tracked my motions, even after Wii Motion Plus it just never felt quite right.
Move just delivers the performance that I've wanted out of the Wii for the Past 4 Years.
I'm glad it got approved again, I missed the first one.
I was kinda curious as to what the color changing LED looked like.
I still cant get over how accurate the motion tracking is.
I am really starting to like ALL of the games on SC. About half the disc is exciting (Gladiator, Table Tennis, Archery) and the other half can be quite relaxing (Frisbee, Disc Golf, Bocce).
I'd put Beach Volleyball in the middle somewhere.
our public school systems really need to step it up!
I disagree, I think that Sports Champions blows Sports Resort out of the water, the controls just feel so much better with Move when compared to Wii motion plus.
For me Sports Champions gets a 8.0, Wii Sports Resort 7.5.
Dude, Frisbee golf is EASIER on the Wii, way BETTER with Move.
You flick with the Wii, with Move you actually have to, you know, throw the Frisbee.
I don't know what you are talking about?
So according to Greg Miller is you have zero physical ability and or hand eye coordination stick with the Wii.
If you understand the difference between a forehand and a backhand shot go with Sports Champions.
I personally LOVE the depth and realism that Sports Champions provides. Oh, and while where at it, I also prefer the art direction of Sports Champions, never really cared for the cutesy Mii crap.
You have to get another one, its so much better with both hands in the action.
What? You are a Metal Gear fan and have not picked up Peace Walker?
1. That makes no sense.
2. You are and have been missing out on one of the best games to come out this year.
And it is funny to me that I am downloading the Ghost of Sparta demo right now while reading this headline.
