First, I cant believe how many X-box fans are using the whole Microsoft will have a new piece of hardware out by 2011 as a defence. This is not a good thing people. Buy a new console every five years! A good thing? No, actually hell no its not.

Also Sony has a huge list of exclusive NEW IPs lined up. 3 or more coming from NCsoft, 3 coming from ROCKSTAR, and a hand full coming form Eat, Sleep, Play, including Twisted Metal. And UT3 drops on 12/11/2007 with God of War III in the works.
Alot of huge exclusive IPs coming in the next 12 months with new exclusive IPs from huge devs to follow. I just cant see the 360 keeping up from a software standpoint.

And I forgot about Blu-Ray. This disc will be great for the future of gaming with its 50gigs of storage. And if Blu-Ray beats HD-DVD that will send PS3 sales through the roof.

I realy do think that the 3 will pass the 360 next year for many reasons. First, the games. GT5, GTA4, MGS4, LBP, Haze, FFXIII, FFXIII vs, Killzone 2, ect. ect. Hell Gran Turismo, Final Fantasy, and Metal Gear could do this.
Two, services, HOME will be huge. (if it ever launches) and the PSN has alot more coming with new games and services.

More space on the disc =s no video compresion and 7.1 audio not that compresed 5.1 crap audio that the HDDVD version of Transformers got. My DVD movies have been doing 5.1 for years, I want 7.1 moving forward.
This game will sell 3.5 million plus copies world wide. There is no doubt about that. As far as it moving hardware, yes it will also do this, I think around 350,000- 500,000 units for Sony mabey more.
I know 3 people who are waiting for MSG4 and will be buying PS3s the same day.

I got my XBR 5 from Sony with no payments no intrest for 18 months. I think that most people can come up with or at least save $133.33 each month. I do hear what you are saying though.
and mabey even the Wii by March 2009. I think that 2008 will be that strong of a year for the Playstation brand. The console market is open to about 150 million units and right now the big 3s new systems only total about 27 million sold. Thats over 100 million people that still want a new system. With the 3 consoles at hand I am willing to bet that more people will stick with Sony.

HDDVD is already done. Why do you think that HDDVD players are on sale for $98.00 it called a clearance sale people. Its a good way for Toshiba to recoupe some of it losses.
And to put my money where my mouth is I own 20 Blu-ray movies. Oh yeah I do Blu.
The PS3 is the better system. It always has been and always will be. Devs just need to get over the learning curve. Some already have.

If this game plays half as good as it looks it will be a AAA, 10/10, blockbuster, hell of a game. And a first day buy for me. Also images like that are what make the PS3 worth $600.00 in my book, and the system keeps getting cheaper. If you have a PS3 smart move, if you dont then you should probably get one very soon :)
Well I have bought 6 movies this holiday season and all 6 are Blu-Ray Discs. Why? The format is bigger, They have more movies, The discs are cheaper-at least where I live/WalMart- And I want the next format to be around for along time. Why will Blu-Ray be around longer? Because the disc is bigger. WOW!
Oh, and I put my money where my mouth is with my 21 Blu-Ray movies. My wife and myself buy alot of movies.
