I have always felt and seen that the 360 is indeed holding back the industry in terms of pushing the envelope for game development.
@ Everyone talking about "Xbox gave us Halo."
Halo was actually a game in development for MAC in its beginning, so the Xbox had very little to do with how Halo turned out. We can all thank Bungie though.
@ Everyone talking about "Xbox gave us great games."
Aside from there very small (quantity) first party...
I hope they do one for the U.S.
There will never be a game good enough for me to buy another 360.
I do agree with you, more games is always a good thing but HOME dose have 100+ mini games now.
I have played maybe 50-60% of them. There are over 50 spaces now so I am having a hard time remembering what I have done all ready and have yet to do.
Again, make the game and I will buy it.
This has been a problem for years now. You guys remember Project Gotham's cant fit everything on the disc.
@ Jason 360
Digital Download will not take over the disc medium until bandwidth caps are removed. Even now I struggle to stay under my cap just with game demos, the small DL games and playing online.
You need to play Tekken for PSP.
And bring on some Street Fighter, I would pick this up for my PSP even though I did not for my PS3.
I disagreed with you because the more we ask, the more likely SE will get it done.
If you do a FFVII remake I will buy it on day one. If you make a collectors edition I will buy that instead.
Now get to work.
This is simple. Microsoft payed to run this promotional spot. Good for them, they want this game to sell well on there console, Final Fantasy has been one of the biggest selling IPs for the past 13 years or so. Hell yeah I want a piece of that pie also.
This is one of those differences between Sony and Microsoft, and also a huge reason Microsoft shut down most of there first party studios, this frees up tons of cash to market 3rd party games, at the same time making your 3rd par...
You know that Michael just came out of retirement to drive the new Mercedes. Great news for F1.
Also, this has to be why F1 was dropped from GT5.
Great piece of artwork. Picked mine up on my lunch today. Sony also sent Kratos masks for the employees to wear, I was like damn, I had to pay for mine.
Anyone else get the Blades of Chaos replicas? I cant take my eyes off of these god killers.
Edit: a link to the poster.

Bad example. Milk is a perishable good, Blu-Ray discs are not.
The car to disc analogy is spot on though. Oh, and tons of new cars are used as demos before being sold as new.
If you dont like that the game you are about to buy has been sitting in a drawer so that the box could be used for display, you know so you can shop for the game, then don't buy that copy. Simple.
I don't think that I could be anymore excited for GoW III than I am right now. My Blades of Chaos just showed up at the front door.
You wanna talk about OMGOW, I was freaking the F out.
I will be playing MAG for the rest of this Gen.
I would really love to see this game reach great levels of commercial success along with the critical. 1. Because we need more games like this, and 2. Because we need more games like this.
So this is without a doubt Day MFing One for me.
that would turn out to be one hell of a year for R*, and more than likely us.
Right, they had a great outing with Getaway, now they have had way more time, a much larger development budget, and with R* on board with the publishing from the get go it seems logical to assume that L.A. Noire will turn out to be a great game.
MAG really is amazing, I will be back on as soon as I'm done with Heavy Rain.
