Nothing makes me more happy than the 1942 theme song. It's iterations aren't bad at all. But man, that brings me back some time and is just completely epic. :D
I'll also wait for release for good videos, since even textures for consoles and also sound were nurfed for the demo download size. And also of a alpha version.
Same engine, they don't have two completely different rendering engines and such.
Unless you hold X on PC to pick up stuff, nope, PS3.
Looks to me like they've fixed every glitch from the "beta" [alpha] I guess now tons of people will feel really stupid for canceling their preorder.
And this looks really good, the sense of being alone in those hallways was pretty sweet. Can't wait for this! :D
That's a lot of people who can't understand that:
1. It's a Beta.
2. It's an Alpha labeled as a Beta and in the current version is fixed with 99% of the glitches, with all the big ones gone. Derp.
I normally wouldn't defender a game, but considering DICE hasn't released a bad game in their lives, I'm prepared to say canceling your preorder is dumb. Heck, even the textures were nurfed on console with 1/3 the sound q...
Alpha labeled Beta.*
Agreed, but it won't be day 1.
You apparently didn't find the suicide option in the pause menu.
Last time I checked, PC got the real beta and was glitch free pretty much completely. And any that arose weren't even existing on consoles. Either of them.
Even I won't say it was a good beta, the glitches were pretty insane, but this wasn't to show off the game. And since they've supposedly fixed all the worst with the current build I'm not worried about them and that even minor buggs are crushed too. I firmly believe this game will still be great and stable day 1. I mean, when was the last bad Battlefield game released? Never, for a reason. DICE knows how to handle their own game engine.
Demo? WTFail.
You have to buy something? Of course...
And when the game comes out and is fixed and near perfect the bandwagons will be out again and everyone will be riding it. The beta is an alpha that's over 2 months old, anyway. 99% of the bugs with all the major ones are fixed right at this moment.
Oh well, at least they'll know what's better in the end.
Lolwut? Even the beta with nurfed sound and textures and glitches is 3x the visual capacity of MW2, don't be stupid. And story has been leaked for months, go read it like the rest of us and save $120.
remove the /S. Getting new hardware made after you ordered and are tooled up for the old chips is costing money, don't act like they did it because they had too. Bullcrap. And plus, if you don't want to have an older console to play the older games, why not just emulate it on your PC then?
Dur.
I LOVE how nobody is talking about they removed backwards compatibility to only charge you for those games later. :p
Multiplayer on phones and such aren't as good though. And I doubt that have single player campaigns like those mainly do.
Worst $3 ever spent. :(
Most people who made NES games in the day had teams of multiple people, too, with 8 hours a day devoted to working on said games. Even then, NES games today like Super Bat Puncher with a 2 man team and no devoted time to consistently work on it can create better work. See linked video. There's more NES games like that too.
It's the talent and know-how, not the quantity of people working on it. Even Minecraft and Terraria now have semi-studios behind them by hiring the...
Get it right! Mode-7 screen only on the SNES? 3+ background layers, sprite/background priotity, and more then 3 colors per tile that looks to be about 16 actually? That's an SNES STYLE RPG! And plus, this was posted many months ago, was to recycle news.
