I never thought I'd bitch this much about a sequel again, but give me Gravity Rush 2 or give me death!
Preferably Gravity Rush 2 though...
Looking forward to Windows 9 to turn things back to normal.
Say what you want about 3D, but I want that SimulView!
If what can be summed up by Captain Obvious saying that a British, sensationalist newspaper makes "unresearched" argument for not buying the Wii U, whilst refuting them with the same level of research is what passes for a "Very well written article" these days...
...then just shoot me.
After the Wii U comes out, mind. I want to try this bad boy!
(I obviously had to write that last sentence to not get bubbled down, but I kinda mean it too....
Why? Because the console is so outdated at release you'd rather hook your PC up to the TV? Zzzzzzzzing!
Okay, I'm gonna read the article now. Don't hate me, please. Wii U looks cool.
If it was released for a handheld I'd buy it in a second.
If you can buy DLC costumes on PS3 and use them on Vita as well. Will they call it cross dress?
Jesus Christ people, it was a joke! And how was it trolling anyway? It wasn't venomous or anything. But of course my user name has 360 in it, and if I then make a remark about PS3 I'll be living large as Salman Rushdie before you know it.
Now, tbh, I like the new PS3. But I'm not buying another one, and I don't entirely see the point of buying another one because there aren't really that many improvements. So yeah... God of war rocks, and I'm looking ...
I'm buying 50. I already have a PS3, so I need to buy many new PS3s to adjust the balance of power between them.
@Reply to my own comment
I meant that they HAVEN'T suffered too much. Not that they have. Sorry, peeps.
Cut Cliff some slack, you guys. He is a great developer too.
He just doesn't seem that great when standing next to legend Hideo Kojima.
@Live2play
Sony are in a bad position, no doubt. But the PlayStation brand has suffered too much from the losses. Sony still has a huge line up of first party developers, like Nintendo has, in a time where third party exclusives are on the decline.
But yeah. I do hope both 360 and PS3 will remember the hardcore.
You do notice the HD makeover. But yeah, I hope the next gen will offer a little more in terms of graphics than Wii U. I'm not a graphics nut either, I just like progress.
I think it's a fair prediction that it won't be quite at Avatar level, or even all that close.
I just hope the standard for storytelling will be far beyone Avatar level. Then again, the average baseball game has more a more impressive narrative than that movie, so I think that's a safe prediction too.
Also, it's a game about Sarah Palin making clothes out of her own hair (much like the real Sarah Palin)...
So, yeah. Not buying Wii U for this one. Call me when you have the massive 3D free roam Pokémon game everyone has been asking for since the dawn of time.
You do enjoy a lot of commotiom surrounding your game when it's exclusive. I think the smaller games, that might not make it without a little media support can benefit from exclusivity. But I never think we'll be seeing an exclusive main series GTA or CoD without some series money put into it from hardware publishers. And I don't think that's a beneficial strategy, as the article suggests.
There's not really any point with this list. I think you really screwed it up, when you went for the obscure "A smash-hit new IP". Well, if you're not going to be specific and just wish for any game then here's my list:
1. Game that sells 200.000.000 Vitas and 203.000.000 copies
2. Game that brings peace to the middle east
3. Awesome new IP that makes the world a better place.
4. Game that ends starvation and global warming
Squarenix are struggling with depth on consoles these days, so if they're going to be the frontier for mobile game depth, then good going.
The best RPG I've played on a phone was an emulated version of Pokémon Silver. And due to control issues it was inferior to the original Gameboy version.
But, yeah, no. Bring on Elder Scrolls VI: iOS....
Not sure if jokingly overdoing enthusiam or if candidate for heavy sedatives.
I as a loyal Elite Ice Cream Enthusiast am honored to have Ben & Jerry bless the Ice Cream fanbase with the first ever Key Lime Pie ice cream. No longer do we have to stare over at the Pie Eater's Table, as they consume this wonderful piece of pie.
And with the enabled ice cream bowl and the special spoons made so that you can more easily scrape the bowl, I think we're...
Kind of reminds me of every iPhone game ever made, when you look at it. Really, what is up with all these City Story, Cafe Stoy, MiB3, Ice Age, Simpsons and every iPhone game looking and playing exactly like this?
