Why? Will I meet prince charming or something? :P
It's a good day when the four first posts are bubble+ worthy.
Edit:
And it doesn't stop there. This topic is my new favorite now. What was the news story again?
@Irishguy95
I think there are some inanimate objects that are usually considered offensive to joke about. I'm not going to mention them, because I don't want to offend anyone.
Oh, WTH.
Tumors, aborted fetuses, dead bodies, world trade centers, the Quran, the Bible, other holy books, medical journals and last but not least Michael Jackson.
So yeah.
Well, this plan involved going outside. It's weekend. I'm not gonna put myself on the line like that.
Yeah, or is it 2015? Even attempting an educated guess at this point seems pointless. No one has any idea what Sony or MS will dish up. I will say this though, that no matter how good or bad the Wii U is, it's likely to sell pretty well. Because of the Kentucky Fried North American marke we've all come to kinda dislike. And the EU market too, buys a lot before it thinks. Ditto the rest of the world. ...
Well, duh. Have you seen 2001: A Space Odyssey? PCs back then were supersmart, but also kind of evil. You should probably "ram" your PC into the garbage along with your Friends season 7 boxed VHS set, before that PC does something evil like plotting 9/11 or something.
So yeah, there are more 2001 references where that came from.
Lemme tell ya. These HD remakes sure make the games look different. The original Wip3out looked a lot more like an anti-grav racer and a lot less like an obstacle course game.
I don't want to be rude, but here's an early screenshot of Gran Turismo for the PSP. (Really, PSP. Not GT5. PSP)
Speaks volumes, doesn't it?
Every dog has his day
I gotta be honest, The Majora's Mask approach sounds stressful.
Also, I kinda like the idea of a definite ending, and knowing FF, I probably won't get the best ending without a walkthrough.
F you Squarenix. FF you...
Still, I'm gonna buy it
Yeah, but how much would Uncharted 4 sell? Also, it is Naughty Dog. It's not your average new IP. It's a bit like saying "Yeah, but this new IP from Valve" Yeah, but then again Half-Life 3...
Obviously there are other factors there than just one. And if you're not asking rhetorically, which you have no reason to be, I think he himself provides some reasons.
"if you look historically the majority of new IPs are introduced within the first 24 months of each cycle of hardware platforms"
There's more where that came from.
@da one
Just... Facepalm. Just unbelievable...
Why would I mind the gap?
The gap's not my real father!
Like Duke Nukem Forever and Too Human...
That's what you'd say if you made bad games.
Jk, I'm not a complete nutjob like some of the people here.
Traditionally you have studios with designated work assignments. Making or porting. I don't think we'll see a shift in the priorities of those assignments if Sony were to turn their eyes to PS2 porting. Media Molecule and Naughty dog will keep making games, not porting them is my point. While Bluepoint and others keep on porting.
I certainly hope he is, but if you look at Raiden's specials he's got the cardboard boxes and everything. That seems like something they'd save for snake if he indeed is in the game.
Wouldn't that make good games expensive and bad games cheap? That sucks.
And who would judge quality?
And should really budget be a factor? Doesn't that reward or mitigate wasting money?
And what about online play? What does that count for in terms of length?
These are but a few of the many brain twisters you have to solve, before we scrap supply and demand.
