Because they suck at adapting

Fixing what isn't broken =/= changing something every now and then.

I think western RPGs have been far more innovative this generation, and worked hard to expand the genre. They've taken a much more serious look at open world games, as well as real time battle systems and mixing roleplaying games with other genres.

Games like Demon's Souls would be examples of games that have innovated and brought new stuff to the table, and they've rightfully...

I like violent ice cream.
I'm so sorry everyone.

No, but this isn't really a facetious issue.
The ice cream violence rates have gone up every year since 2002

"Wii U games for early 2013" is a bit of an oxymoron at this point. Hope Nintendo can get it's groove on.

"I hope to God it's not some triple like Wii U music"

"...and a Wii U version of one of the big hitters are needed"

Make up your mind :P
No, but imagine something like garage band. By Nintendo.

Also, I'd very much enjoy a new IP. Nintendo should generally get moving on making some new IPs.

Fingers crossed for Wii U Music! With a touch-screen it would actually work!
Oh, and maybe Zelda.

And come on, people. Let's expect something here, I want reasons to buy this console. Naow! Let's get super hyped.

It doesn't say what they're planning to do with it, just that they want to secure the rights for themselves before THQ actions them away to someone without them having a say.

I'm guessing they probably want to make sure the game falls in the right hands themselves.

They'd have Banjo Kazooie.... which would feel kind of wrong.

"Sony cannot afford to purchase Microsoft’s Xbox business. Not to mention that the Xbox brand is not for sale"

I think the suggestion was that parts of it may be sold, within some time to someone like Sony. Sony would buy parts of the business, say Gears of War.

But I don't think it'll happen either. But who knows. Let's see how this 360 does.

Least serious petition ever. Lots of spelling mistakes is one thing, but it really is kind of offensive in its stupidity. No, kids, DmC does not intrude upon your rights. It intrudes on your inflated self-esteem, because when you play it you realise that it's awesome and you're not. That is all.

You can't hate on the first amendment, grammar and logical consistency if you're not awesome. Geneva convention. Look it up.

Really? The controller has no specifications?
I could have sworn things like
-----
6.2″ inch touchscreen, WVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels), 16:9 aspect ratio
Regular button control layout on the side of the controller, with two analog circle pads
Microphone
Camera
Speakers (left and right)
Accelerometer
Infrared sensor
Gyroscope
NFC and Bluetooth support
Stylus/pen support
Headphone jack ...

Difference:
A PS3 sold statistically also sells Blu-Rays, Music Unlimited, Movie Unlimited, Bravia TVs (at least used to), lots of Sony games and lots more.

The PlayStation 3 can go with minus, as long as it helps the other branches. Now, Sony hasn't always handled this synergy perfectly, but MS doesn't have the same kind of complementary goods on offer. So if Xbox doesn't turn a profit on its own, MS is not that interested in having it around.

It's not like he said "It's all about the hair", even though he went very far in saying that it's the thing that's most complained about. That's probably not true though, even if it has become the most apparent complaint.

He could also tone down his voice a little. It wouldn't be annoying, if he hadn't Greg Millered it to the max.

The first Assassin's Creed didn't have any stealth at all. Or Stealth tactics.
In fact, the franchise has been getting more stealthy (with the exception of AC3), it's just that he stealth is too easy and too stupid.

The online mode has some alright stealth though. If you just run around and jump people that hardly gets you any points.

I agree with mr Patch for once. If Wii U had been released in 2010, same year as the iPad, that would probably be pretty impressive. Are anyone really impressed by a pad controller with those specs in 2012? or 2013? After Vita cross play and smart glass even...

Btw, not saying it won't sell (even though it would sell more if it had the "wow" factor), just saying that it's not really all that impressive to tech geeks.

He's easy for beginners at least :P
It seems to me the most people with Level 999 play as Sly. Who doesn't demand that much skill to get insanely good with. Also, spamming with Radec seems to work nicely for a lot of people...

...myself included.

Wrong post for a spelling mistake.

Either that, or that was a meta-comment far too subtle for the Internet.

(I agree though, starting an article with an its/it's error is not that bright)
