To the Best of my knowledge I seem to clearly recall that the Xbox One Video Game Console was recently bestowed the title of the world’s fastest selling console in the United States if I'm not mistaken. From all statistical standpoints I would say that is a very far cry from Microsoft "Getting it Wrong". As far as I’m concerned, any possible availability issues are simply due to the massive demand that is constantly being placed on Microsoft due to the tremendous amount of both ...
I openly concur with the general consensus of the original article title in that the ps4 console itself does seem to be relatively adequate in terms of general processing power and overall gaming flexibility. However, my main current gripe with the system is its stark lack of actual gaming content to both attract and maintain the common consumers fleeting attention span. Frankly speaking, common sense has shown that consumers will always want to be immediately grasped and entertained or enthr...
Incompatibility issues can be expected during the process of upgrading video gaming equipment from previous generations, to the next generation high standards of the Xbox One console. As always, playing and enjoying video games can be viewed as a luxury, rather than a necessity, so along with that very fact comes the standard monetary requirements along with it.
If indeed this rumor does result in being factual, it could essentially be viewed as a huge disappointment to those numerous fans who have previously placed their faith and loyalty in sony as a company to deliver upon the promised bundle they had diligently pre-ordered. In my opinion it would obviously appear that for some unknown reason, there does indeed appear to be some sort of issue with the actual development process for the ps4. This is further supported by the numerous video games cur...
apologies double post
Although I feel this is of slight detriment for some of the more exciting and innovative features that Microsoft had originally planned for the Xbox One, in regards to the grand scheme of things this is truly fantastic to appease that rather small, specific audience demographic of gamer who had miniscule(nitpicking) issues with the previously proposed digital rights management/ 24 hour check in policy. Truly, this should only further serve to enhance the already incredible pre order sales tha...
It's precisely the sheer amount of features currently provided with the Xbox One more than justify its current price point as it truly does encompass all aspects of the next generation entertainment experience. It boasts cutting edge specifications for the core gaming audience, while the thoroughly complete Kinect integration assures it also addresses the broad casual market. Furthermore, its seamless integration of television features make it a reasonable choice for the customer who desi...
Apologies, inadvertent double post error.
Listen my fellow gamers this is truly set to be a fantastic next generation of gaming consoles in regards to both innovation and gaming titles. Currently it would appear that playstation's main advantage would rest specifically in its price point, while the Xbox One encompasses all other advantages in the fields of features and exclusive gaming titles. However, specifically referencing the above titles notion of "hype" let us see what the consumer truly prefers with their actual...
Factually speaking with reference to all currently provided statements and specifications on both the ps3 and Xbox One, it appears that both will be fully embracing and supporting DRM, albeit the Xbox One will be a more active form, while the ps3 will be a more passive method allowing the developers to be the "bad guys" in the eyes of gamers and still resulting in exactly the same DRM. So in reality for the next generation of gaming we will all be supporting digital rights managemen...
Again with the hypocrisy? Regardless of your console of choice please realize that both sony and Microsoft are on the same level playing field currently when it comes to online gaming. One must pay to play. It really is as elementary as that, regardless of how one tries to spin the facts with misinformation, or personally justify this extra monthly cost to themselves. So now since they are now essentially the exact same service, to negatively demonize Microsoft for their policy, one must in t...
I also believe it will be a massive success due to several factors. Namely that Microsoft has managed to successfully encompass not just the core gaming audience, but the casual market has also been successfully embraced. With this factor alone there is no possible way the Xbox One can fail, as contrary to popular belief, the casual gamer is not terribly concerned with the minuscule issues(nitpicking)of the more hard core market segment.
This has neither been confirmed nor denied officially by Microsoft so let's not jump to any irrational conclusions by listening to an obvious attempt at journalistic sensationalism. Furthermore, why would one even fathom reselling their Xbox One console when it provides all aspects of ones gaming and entertainment needs? My mind conjures up only a few possible scenarios, with the main one entailing a person possibly wishing to resell it on EBay soon after launch for a higher profit due to...
This was truly a tough decision for myself, and after much deep thought and deliberation I have decided to place my hard earned cash towards a pre order for the Xbox One. The features, fantastic video game lineup, and incredible Kinect innovation simply make it too difficult to pass up at its current price point. Also, after viewing the admirable showing by Nintendo, I may be persuaded to acquire a WiiU should the possibility of a price drop present itself. Furthermore, in regards to the ps4,...
Truly once both consoles are finally released we shall see how all of these clearly biased online negatives, knowingly being portrayed by a "console specific" group mind you, translate into the real world. My own personal educated guess? I anticipate that just as sony's previous disc read error, or even Microsoft's red ring had little to no effect on the overall lifetime sales of said consoles, this unwarranted negative press will similarly have little to nil effect.
Honestly are we still on this "Doom and Gloom campaign" where clearly "The sky is Falling" and all is lost for Microsoft's Xbox One? Really my fellow gamers, regardless of your console of choice, or even personal bias, one has to admit that this amazing console is going to sell tremendously as indicated by all brick and mortar/online sources and their current pre order numbers. The masses will voice their opinion much much louder with their hard earned dollars, than th...
Apologies in advance for my repost of said statement, however this article correlates directly to my previous statement made
The hypocrisy on these forums in regards to this "Pay for play"subject is so thick it makes it almost impossible to breathe really. I find myself pondering if I have somehow fallen into some sort of alternate universe whereas all playstation fans are suddenly adamantly supporting, and even complimenting the exact same, I repeat the exact same policy th...
The hypocrisy on these forums in regards to this "Pay for play"subject is so thick it makes it almost impossible to breathe really. I find myself pondering if I have somehow fallen into some sort of alternate universe whereas all playstation fans are suddenly adamantly supporting, and even complimenting the exact same, I repeat the exact same policy they called unjustifiable for countless years previous. Suddenly the demonized process of Microsoft charging to play online is praised ...
Listen my fellow gamers, I hate to be the one to bring a healthy dose of rationality to this current "Gloom and Doom" scenario conjured up by the masses on N4G, but the Xbox One is going to sell fantastically. If history has taught us anything, it's that the voice of a few outraged(often nitpicking) over certain miniscule aspects can be overwhelmingly drowned out by the cheering of the masses ready for the future of technology. I have noticed that in recent years this particular...
Inadequate sales would truly be a shame for all supporters of such a great company like Insomniac and their countless talented employees. Realistically, I fail to see any direct reasoning or correlation as to why them deciding to solely commit to Microsoft Corporation would negatively effect them in general or overall. In my opinion it was almost as if Insomniac as a whole appeared to be growing increasingly frustrated with the lackluster sales (possibly due to sony's minimalist approach ...
