I love Takes but Persona is too wierd for me.
I got Shenmue on Dreamcast when it launched. I was probably more impressed by the graphics and level of detail than anything else. In fact, in my opinion those were more memorable than the actual story in the game, so excuse me for not being blown away by its announcement.

No they should not have. I have never enjoyed split screen. It is awkward first of all, then there are performance issues. It makes more sense to pour your resources into making the best online co-op experience possible with zero lag. When I am playing Halo and just went for the multikill, I don't have time to tap Home and then X. I just say Xbox record that and my video gets recording, all while I am still playing.
Kinect sucks for gaming but in terms of enhancing the ecosystem inside and outside of gaming its fantastic.
It won by default because Microsoft does not need COD. The king of FPS has returned to next gen, and by that I mean Halo. Halo 5 will move a massive amount of units.

I'm happier without Bungie. Say what you want about 343i and the issues with multiplayer in Halo 4 (namely drops and loadouts) or Halo MCC (networking issues galore) but I have never felt better about the future of Halo than I do with 343i. They actually the LORE, they don't shy from it. They are experts at graphics, speed, and and generating an emotional story. Lastly, Halo 5 quite simply looks like a beast of game. I cannot wait.

Seems to me MS allows Studios to make what the want. Some are really heavy into their current IP and others make what they want.

There are millions of 360 users in the wild that have yet to move to next gen. Many users are still buying 360 games. The 360 is still widely popular. Now they can take advantage of the crazy trade ins and still play their 360 games on the XONE. Yes it's a big deal, and a potential game changer. People don't like rebutting and renting games they already own. It's why Yoshida was shocked when Microsoft revealed it and why Sony fans keep downplaying it.
I have a strong feeling this game is going to be the best of 2016. I predict it will win best new IP, GOTY, and will be the best third person action shooter of the year. It's shaping up to be truly amazing.
