Although I agree with you, Halo will never be the new Star Wars. It is an amazing sci-fi epic in its own right, that was born from games not films.
Two totally different franchises that were introduced via totally different mediums (film / game) with a whole generation gap in-between.

I too think a 6 is a suspicious score.
Only because we know how much money and man power has gone into this game, they wanted it to be good. A 6 would suggest this game is only just above average. Hmmm... I have a hard time believing that.

It is a beauty to behold.
The statue is solid and beautifully crafted.
The way they can be split to face of against each other, back to back as book ends or side by side like in the promo shots, this is a very fun and detailed statue to add to any collectors horde.
I got the Needler too, but its a bit poo.
The thing is massive, heavy and came with NO STAND!!!
The mechanism inside is so noisy you can hardly hear the sound effe...
I remember how many complaints there were about the lack of story and character development during the first few Halo games.
Since 343 the story has been given more attention. I loved the story of Halo 4, so if 343 have done more than before then I am very pleased with this outcome.
It is still a FPS at heart, but I am looking forward to uncovering the truth. Come on midnight!!!

I am surprisingly loving this game.
Really slowly paced story with simple point and click controls with some puzzle solving along the way.
Really enjoyable for a tired, late night, blurry eyed gaming session.
