Hey kraenk12, my current PS4 is less than 3 weeks old. I went with a 1tb black Star Wars BF bundle after giving my previous one to my nephew. Not sure of which model it is but it sounds the same as before. No biggie though, its only a minor difference that I get. Not enough to 'stop the press!!!' I didn't disagree with you btw.
Clown Syndr0me, yeah it's not consistently loud but I 'notice' it more than the 'other' console.
Maybe its the pitch that is different.
I dunno, not really an issue when I have the surround sound pumping. Its just in the silent moments that I notice the PS4's pffffffff.... lol.
Considering the size of the xbox one and the fan on top I would expect some sort of benefit. But as I said, it's not an issue and I am definitely not trying to make one :)
Will be interesting to see the revised 'slim' hardware's in the next yea...
What always gets me when I switch, is the loudness of the PS4 compared to the Xbox One.
I recently picked up journey on ps4, fired it up and I was looking around the room wondering where this 'sound' was coming from... Then I realised it was the PS4 haha. The xbox is basically silent, fading into the background noise.
Its a small thing but it has always made me smile, after the last gen fiascos about nit picking on every single facet of those consoles...

I have enjoyed every day. Coming home from work saying 'xbox on' and seeing the magic happen has never gotten old.
I'm glad I have a PS4 for certain games but my daily fix has always seemed to come from the great big breeze block under my tv. Great time to be a gamer.
Lets hope that Mr. Spencer and team xbox continues the evolution of the Xbox One.

Destiny was not what I was hoping for.
I'm sadly disappointed, I was hoping for a deep storyline to elegantly drive the unraveling mystery of the traveler.
But no, it's a shooter, a grindy, tedious, repetitive, wallet hungry shooter. With laughable cutscenes that just... meh.
Sorry if I upset any hardcore fans but its only my opinion which is not really important to anyone other than me. But I'm bored and felt like posting something...

It did have it's moments for sure!
I personally felt the delivery was bloated and unnecessarily loooooooong for some sections.
But I don't want to beat on this too much. I had an initial response to seeing the show but I have no reason to goad. I love my PS4 :)
