What happens when you add the destiny 2 promotion stuff to the experiment.
FPS + Pop Tarts + Rockstar Energy Drinks = ???
I think the deal also had something to do with utilising the extra power of the X, along with the marketing.
Not a parity title like destiny 2.
Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.
"even though the price and lack of fundamental features have us on the fence a little bit. "
Lack of fundamental features? Pray do tell...
My perfect playthrough of ME3, saving all the crew, sacrificing Shepard and saving the universe... For this!!!

Denial is not a river in Egypt, but it is what you are experiencing.
Better? More features? More Organised? Easier Access? Ok.
But there will always be people who don't like change.
Looks like Ninja Theory have done it again! I will be picking this up to show my support.

Judging how the UI looks on each, I would say that the X has way more going for it in terms of functionality, menus, content and algorithmic coding for many content ID's, the PS is essentially a funky menu bar.
I would think the difference in installation is due to the complexity differences of the UI. This is not a flamebait comment, read it as an opinion, not as a assessment of quality.
"we wanted to make a character-based first person shooter that appeals to the Call of Duty and Halo crowd"...

Reap what you sow.
