Xbox brings Microsoft into the livingroom which leads the way for further exposure to future revenues through the home space.
Much speculation about microsofts demise recently. Personally, i think taht if the one succeeds then the future of livingroom entertainment will be aggressively pursued by MS.
I totally agree with you regarding sony's success. They are superb at hardware,
Their bravia TV's are amazing.
Their vaio range of pc's are as good if not better than the mighty apple in build quality.
Their smartphone division were my fav mobile manufacturer till I got an iPhone, which I sometimes regret buying.
They are, by the very definition of the word, a hardware company.
MS are coders, it's in the compan...
Considering they are the youngest console manufacturer, it's rather impressive they hae done so well against veterans like Sony and Nintendo.
There is a lot of negativity in your post, it's a shame you can't put your anger towards them to one side and enjoy the games they will be offering to us.
They changed for the simple reason that the vast majority of people did not or we're not ready for such a drastic shift to digital only. They had a ...
I was making a joke about the whole situation, not laughing at Sony.
Obviously I have struck a nerve with you, didnt mean to offend anyone, just highlighting the hilarity of this whole debacle.
Not to metion this rubbish article that is all based on speculation and assumptions.
im far from ignorant, thanks for making it personal.
your dad told me
:p
what, sitting on the couch with you? lol
are you gonna name it and dress it up too?
im sure you can buy a real bride on ebay if your that lonely
Well written article in my humble opinion.
I am thankful to Sony the outspoken and the press, without them we would be screwed and stuck with a very restrictive Xbox.
Now we have two consoles that are offering very strong propositions to us the gamers.
LOL
No one knew what Huma was till the post now suddenly is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
"we now have Huma integrated into our 3d modelling architecture, just ask this scientician" "...erm"
(Simpsons reference)
The female reporter for Xbox scanned really well, but major Nelson looked meh.
They are caricatures though so its not meant to be a 1:1 scan but more an exaggerated version of yourself.
It's better than I thought it would be so I'm happy.
It looks amazing to me!
So if it plays better than it looks....
Woo Hoo!
Oh my god,
Jet force Gemini! I totally forgot about that game, it was Kewl!
Let's hope Rare are allowed to be themselves a little more this gen instead of being Microsoft games studios in every sense but name.
Conker Conker Conker!!!
Agreed,
This is great news! It's time for a new era for MS, I don't know what peoples sentiments are but Bill Gates was a great man, in business and in his personal life. Balmer has never made me take notice of anything he has done since his start of term so getting someone new in is great.
Let's hope that the new head honcho is a gamer :D
It sure has been a rocky road for MS these past few months.
I just can't get over the fact that people still claim that MS don't care about the consumer/gamer/customer etc. sales and profit are the deciding factors in every business venture and to think MS have invested more than Scrooge McDuck could shake a stick at just to hate on consumers is borderline insane.
I understand the anger that many have expressed and I shared in many of those, but I don...
The avatar scanner is pretty cool, I personally think this is a great feature that will hopefully be implemented in games that allow you to make your own character. E.g. Saintsrow, mass effect, fight night etc.
I love making my own characters in these games but it can be very tedious, I remember spending nearly a whole day making my commander Shepard lol.
Maybe it's because they are totally different genres.
The gamers who are looking forward to a hack n slash may have no interest in a racer, which is maybe why you got disagrees. Or people are just assuming your hating on Xbox.
I'm used to it by now, I support both platforms but whenever I say something about Xbox that is positive or question the attitude of certain posters regarding anything PS4 I get disagreed to hell and get bubbled down.

It was ok,
I just don't think they should have started the way they did.
Showing the UI and killzone without a word said and then the prez just shuffling off the stage in darkness.
Set a wierd tone for the show, even the attendees seemed a little confused based on the lacklustre applause when that were told what had just happened.
it got interesting once they focused on the PS4
Edit: fixed typo & also why has this arti...
Personally I thought it looks quite fun.
The double executions were sweet.
Each to their own I guess, Im getting this game day one.
"all is fair in love and war"?
Really.
I see no love from the Sony camp, just war
The proof is in the pudding,
Let's just wait and see what MS cloud is capable of before we start claiming its the best thing since sliced bread. There is a long way to go before there is any actual evidence this.
The potential is exciting but there is nothing to show as of now.
