You guys praising MS must be young and ONLY familiar with their xbox division and gaming PR. For the last 25 years and all over the world MS has built a massive history of anti-trust violations, privacy violations, proven IP theft/corporate espionage, proven unethical business practices, and a very VERY long list of companies that "joined" them in some technological endeavor and no longer exist. This activity was incredibly amplified after the dotcom crash.
MS is ...
Untrue. This is 100% for MS.
Why did they ask us then?
Greenberg did say that with the powah of the xbonex, it is going to run like it has an F/A-18F GE-414 powerplant. So yeah give MS access to your bank account now before limited editions of everything sell out forever!
That's called getting your hopes up from marketing so you preorder everything without question. Yeah, I'm that guy.
Gullible gamers keep buying into trailers and throwing money at MS. Have we learned nothing? At least wait until these damn games come out for analysis. So far xbonex has a racer which is nothing compared to these doctored trailers. Xbonex is a mid-range PC at best and will not be pulling these visuals.
MS has never skewed the truth before right?
Regarding how much "better" the game looks vs PC, this is an absolute 100% Xbox 1st party game. So of course they will have it looking nicer on their own (mid-range PC) closed marketplace console where they can control all pricing and everything in it.
If POWAH is that important on consoles, let's see 3rd parties running 4k/60 on xbonex on ULTRA PC settings.
This comparison is not apples to apples when one is a year older, $100 cheaper, and has tons of 1st and 3rd parties and the other is simple, closed, mid-range PC with only 3rd parties.
Bragging that most games run 4k/30fps or one game 60fps while being unable to run ULTRA settings is absolutely mid-range (not talking MS 1st parties on PC, but demanding 3rd parties). Also, that 1 year difference in tech is an eternity. Just look at 1 year advancements in PC gaming or even ...
MS complete my list:
*New games in the MANY diverse genres out there (there's a lot so better get to work)
*4k/60fps ULTRA ULTRA ULTRA for every single game regardless if RPG, racer, or shooter
*No draconian DRM
*Choice of digital marketplaces in the console (GOG being my favorite)
*No gambling microtransactions
*No cut out content resold in price gouged DLC
Then we can talk "potential".
...
Sure MS. "You talk the talk. Do ya walk the walk?" - Animal Mother
*sigh* the Greenberg mouth troll continues to vomit skewed perceptions of reality.
What in the fack? Lying like a rug! Are all companies just jumping on this bullcrap train? There was a time when we used to stand up strong to this kind of malicious corporate BS.
When did we decide to just roll over like a bunch of passive wimps? Oh the $120 "games", price gouged DLC, season passes for nonexistent content, and horse armor microtransactions are oh so good to buy.
I got it.
Wonder who bought them all up: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i....
They're all here https://www.ebay.com/sch/i....
You mean "Scalper's List" I think. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i....
Creativity like this will never return. The AAA Mobile Model Infection has destroyed all real innovation. We will never get deep stories to get lost in, long SP campaigns with amazing level design, and profoundly thought provoking games again - except for the occasional indie quickie still having the balls to do so (with the proverbial middle finger to publishers).
As I commented in another site, now the abominations we buy are $60-120 advertising/microtransaction marketp...
Greenberg lies again.
The Greenberg Lemmings argue this truth.
I'm with you on that. MS dropped us on GOWL like redheaded stepchildren once the 360 took off, never forget. I would love to see this game on GoG Galaxy or Steam since they are not going anywhere.
GoG Galaxy is also a subsidiary of CDPR which is why the Witcher 3 was so heavily promoted on there and I gladly supported. Bought Witcher 3 on there for day one and a ton of other games since. Galaxy is just like the DRM-free, no hassle transaction experience like back in t...
