Yes, Vita and PS3 work together but not as well as Wii U and the Gamepad. Nintendo has painstakingly done everything they can to make sure the Lag is next to non-existent. Big deal if the Vita and PS3 work together Nintendo has done that since Gameboy Advance. I also have a very sneaky suspicion the reason for the 3DS XL may be for it to be better used as a Wii U controller. The 3ds will work with the Wii U, but to what extent I don't know. I just have a feeling it is going to event...

It wont change anything a fact is a fact...You can put it right there in black and white from the DEVELOPERS and they will still argue. I can't believe that this article said that the ports are available on consoles that "cost significantly less" What The 6 year old PS3 is $249 and the "New" PS3 Slim is $279. Also the 1gb ram is for games only compared to the 512mb SHARED ram for Games and OS.Plus if you have Wii Your Wiimote plus controllers work for the Wii U. Also you stated the CPU is 7 year old tech. If you read this article the GPU is NEW custom made tech for Wii U.

It could not have been done on PS3, The PS3 was supposed to be a true HD system, but the more complex games got the less able PS3 was able to put out the 1080p format. Instead most PS3 games run at 720p or lower and Cut scenes are at 1080p.
Thank God, I have been saying what this guy is for MONTHS. Still the Trolls argued and argued...and yeah we all know that PS4 and 720 will have more power than Wii U, but most games up until the last year and a half have not even used all of PS3's power. PS4 is about a year and a half away and so Is 720.
