My Wii Had an update day one as well...so No big deal. I doubt it will even come close to the RING OF DEATH.

You know, I think you are right on the "add it later" being a bad idea. I don't remember when the Gamecube and Wii first came out if they linked to the handhelds right away (I am not a really big handheld person) But yes I would have thought the Wii U and 3DS link would have been a no brainer right out of the box.?.

I agree with you, but for Nintendo this is a HUGE leap over Wii. Nextbox and PS4 are NOT going to be the leap people think they are, I mean how real do you NEED your games to be? Back when PS2 was out Gamecube was out and BLEW PS2 graphically out of the water, now PS2 was the biggest selling system ever, but Gamcube had it going on. LOL...I held a gamepad in my Hands its awesome....So if the disagree people held one and it didn't fit so be it..for me it felt AMAZING not at all a bother for the size....it will be the best thing Nintendo has done for gamers....For the haters...so sorry Microsoft and Sony will ONCE AGAIN have to follow the leader!

I have been saying for weeks, 3DS will link to Wii U, and Sony keeps saying that Vita/PS3 can do what Wii U can. That is just so far not proven. Nintendo has been linking handhelds up for 10 years or so, and this time around I am pretty sure that 3DS/Wii U will be better than ever. It surely will rival PS3/Vita combo. Even so I don't think 3DS/Wii U will be as good as Nintendo's new controller, just as Vita/PS3 combo is not as good as Nintenod's new controller. There is a lag....

I care if its 1080p, I think its stupid on Nintendo's part, but I will still play it. I don't know that I will buy it, but I will at least rent it. I have been seeing some really great things about this game just in the past 3 days that have made me more interested in it than I was before. I guess we will see in just a couple of weeks.

This is why I am not concerned about Wii U being underpowered. It can easily do what PS3 can from what Gearbox has said, and much much more, because it has "Newer Technology" Gearbox has also said the Wii U is "Very, Very powerful.Now with me saying all of that. I have been saying the Next Gen was not going to be the Graphical leap some gamers were thinking it would be, at least not for Sony and (I think) Microsoft. I am sure that Microsoft and Sony are going to do some kind of gamepad now. And no I don't mean smartglass or Vita, but something else. Sony keeps saying Vita/PS3 can do the same thing as Wii U. Killer instinct on Wii may not have looked quite as good on Wii, but one thing that Rare was known for (10 years ago not now) was what Retro is currently known for doing with Wii and that is utilizing and making the best with what you have, and making it work.

The PS3 has just been completely maxed out in the last 3 years, and the Wii U is doing what that can at launch. I love PS3, and read how the Vita and PS3 combo can do what Wii u can do and that just is not the case. Where are the games if the combo can do the same as Wii U. If not from 3rd part then at least 1st party games. Look at launch games on Wii U some are BETTER on Wii U because it is a more capable Console.
