Okay, well if you are a core gamer, why would you want to wait over a year for games that no other system has or plays the way no other system does. Sony is going to be amazing next gen, but if you have been reading the way it looks we have at least a year longer wait. OMG, the Wii U is selling better than GameCube, or N64. God Forbid I compare it to the PS3/360 Sales same time frame. There are more articles about this topic than there need to be. The Wii U's sales are over 3 million for crying out loud. I would hardly call that bad. Now with that said. Nintendo NEEDS to change its advertising. I could write and and direct better commercials easily.
I don' think PS4 will be out this year. If you have read the articles the past week or so, Sony has said they are going to let Microsoft launch first. It has been all over N4G.

They said "Not Quite" meaning that 720/PS4 will have more Power, NOT that the Wii U is under powered. There are plenty of developers who are working on it. Gearbox/Sega, Monolith Soft, Two Tribes, Oh yeah and also EA have all said good things about Wii U. I don't know too many people who thought the Wii U would be a mega powerhouse. It still has more power than PS3/360. Look at The Last of Us. If PS3 can pull that off and Wii Has even 20% more power, that is enough for me. ...
@Dno, What was saying is for allot of games, like ports. Developers are giving Pro-controller as an option. No games like NSMB2 and Nintendoland, you have to use the gamepad because it is part of the gameplay. Not every game made for Wii U has to be built around the gamepad. Hell if a developer WANTED to they could say requires the Pro-controller.
Nintendo, does not require you to use the gamepad. You can use the Pro-controller, or Wii remotes. I like the gamepad on allot of games. Like BOPS2, Madden 13, Trine 2 directors cut. They all use the gamepad very well. Also the Rayman Demo is amazing with the gamepad. Patcher can say what he wants, but Nintendo Wii U still has sold more than PS3/360/Gamecube in the same time frame. I agree Halo is way overrated. MGS2 was better for sure. I don't understand the Halo craze at all. I played the first 2 and they were okay, but after those 2 I just did not have any desire to play them anymore. Unless I was at a friends house and they wanted to play.
I do not plan on buying a 720, Microsoft has few first party titles that make it a MUST have. Halo, Gears of War,Forza Motor Sport may be great games, but Compared to Sony and Nintendo I don't see how Microsoft is going make it next gen. By the time 720 comes out Wii U is going to have several MUST HAVE titles, and Many more on the way. Also Sony will be beefing up its PS4 big guns. I think Nintendo is in a good place right now. I am guessing that with the price cut, Nintendo thought they would sell more Wii's than they did. I don't really know why Nintendo would think that, but I guess they did. Who would buy a Wii now most people either have one or have had one, and the Wii U is backwards compatible. I have quite a few friends who are buying Wii U next month. They all come here to play mine, and really like it, But they were Wii haters the past few years. Two of my Friends are waiting to see if Alien gets...
I think this game looks like it is going to be FUN...I have always liked the Lego series on consoles.
No I am not upset at all about that. There are very few Microsoft exclusives I want to play though. So I am a Wii U, PC, And PS3 game kinda guy. I only have so much time to play games, so I choose the consoles that offer me what I want. I never even had a PS2. I had Gamecube and Xbox. This time around I did have a 360, but lost it in a break up, so I picked up a PS3 to go along with my Wii. I honestly did not miss 360 much at all.

If you look at Metroid on Wii, which had way less power than the PS3, yet the game looked AMAZING. Can you imagine what Retro Will do with the added power, newer tech than current gen with Metroid. I can not wait to see what they have in store for us! The gamepad to scan too.
Microsoft had a full year head start over Sony this gen, yet Sony is pulling right up next to Microsoft and waving. Soon to put Microsoft in its rear view mirror. Just like Rare when Microsoft bought them, Square has changed, over and over. So I am not saying Monlolith is the same as Square USED TO BE, but they are great none the less. Now for all of you saying you don't like the term "the new square" well, it is not the same as square used to be. So many new faces and developers= New square.
No Co-op. There are games I like to play with friends, and Games I don't...BOPS, the new RPG coming to Wii U and things like that yes. Zelda, no. I want to feel at one with the game! If I have someone else playing with me it would not add to the experience.
Uggg...Okay that sucks, But I am sure there is a reason. I just don't know why it takes so long for them to get the apps up and running. I would not think it would be that hard for them.
