As a huge fan of RE, I really started enjoying them on Gamecube because the graphics added so much more atmosphere than on PS1(RE0 was okay not my fave) when 4 came out it gave me a little of everything I waned. I will never forget the first time I played RE4 OMG, With all of those villagers and Chainsaw guy . LOL, Nintendo did not say online was not the future. They said there was not a big enough demand for it back Gamecube came out. I was already online with Dreamcast back then. Nintendo still included it on Gamecube there just were not many games that used it. Wii was a step up for Nintendo for online games, and back then the reason they chose not to do the HD thing was because 7 years ago MOST TVs people had were not HD and there was not enough demand yet to justify the cost. I remember seeing what they had done with Wind Waker the first time and was like WTF. I still bought it and after about two hours into the game I was like, WOW don't judge a book by its cover. It was an amazing game, in fact I liked it better than Twilight Princess. I mean all of the console Zelda titles are instant classics. I guess I should have trusted Nintendo more when I first saw WW. Now I am looking forward to seeing what how they upgrade it. Can not wait.
Basically there are games coming out this year we have not seen yet. Also they need more talent. That is a good thing. I hope they don't put all of their efforts on the gamepad. I mean yes I REALLY like it, but not every game needs to use it constantly. Some games they could just use it s a HUD or weapons switch.
I did not like RE6, RE5 was pretty cool, BUT RE4 was the last really great RE game. I remember RE1 remake on Gamecube. The game was GREAT looking and that was still one of the best.
I don't have and never really got into handhelds, though the 3DSXL is tempting me. So for me this game is fresh and new. Plus from what I have read it is much better than the crappy RE6. So I would pay $50 for it. Though I would understand someone not wanting to pay that for a game they already played. I don't think RE6 sold well (I have no idea how many it sold) that was supposed to be a BIG seller, so Capcom wants to make some of that $$$ up.
Who the hell cares about PACHTER thinks...He needs to go away. On another note I can't wait to see what Sony has up its sleeve.

3 million plus units sold in 2 months, yeah I guess its not selling. It is selling more than PS3/360 did in that time frame. Look it up yourself. Also it has a 3.8 attachment rate. These doom articles should post sales from other consoles at launch. Hell PS3 sold awful until 4 years ago.
Uh, that is not true about companies not putting their "big guns" out at launch. Companies do it ALL THE FREAKING TIME. NES: Mario Bros, Zelda. Super NES: Super Mario World, F-Zero, Pilotwings, N64: Pilot Wings 64, Super Mario 64, Gamecube: Wave Race, Luigi's Mansion (Sunshine was pushed back) Wii: Zelda. Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure Xbox: Halo

You know when you post things like "more powerful" you should post links to back up what you say. As you should know, I love Nintendo but I have read nothing that says the Wii u is more powerful than PS4 or 720 will be. In fact I have read they will have quite a bit more power than Wii U.
Yes, I traded in my PS3 version of BOPS2 because the multi-player on Wii U is awesome,and the game looks and runs a little better on Wii U. No problem finding people playing on Wii U anymore. When are people going to stop paying Microsoft for Live.
I agree with that. I for one do not use my PS3 for Blu-ray, because it makes the drive work all that much more. I have Wii U, put my Wii In the closet. Sucks I can't play my Gamecube games but I will download em. I just want backwards capability because I don't need 3 consoles, a dvr, a blu-ray and my receiver too much clutter. :)

Eternal Darkness is a MUST have game....I sold my Copy years ago and picked it up on E-bay for my old Wii last year and played it through again. This is one game WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE MISSED OUT ON. Lights down surround up! Yes, it would be great on Wii U, even if they just did an HD remake with added insanity affects and updated play mechanics. Oh yes, this game is one of the best.
I don't think this guy is nuts, and I agree with him on the bad press Wii U's getting. When I read people saying "the Wii U is failing" I have one question....Show me the Numbers same time frame, for Wii U, 360, PS3...Show me...please. PS3 was sold at a loss for $499 and people simply were not buying it. It took longer then 2 months for PS3 to sell the 3 million units Wii U has sold. The price cut still really did not help the sales it was still $399 for a basic one, and they were then bleeding money on every unit sold. I am at Costco all of the time, and they have done this allot...This past Holiday I saw Gameing bundles I did not see in any other store, WAY great offers compared to anything else I saw....They do this all of the time dude...Last year I bought another Blu-ray player for $77 there with HDMI cables, same one at Walmart was $150 with NO HDMI cables. Both retailers still carry the Blu-ray player same model but I have not seen it under $130 at Costco since. Also I did not see a ton of Wii U'...
IF PS4 even gets released this year. I have read for months that Sony may not release PS4 till 2014 and this week Sony said they were going to let Xbox launch first. I really don't think 720/PS4 are going to come out at the same time. IF that does happen Sales will suffer, people will have to choose between one or the other, as most people will not have $1000 dollars PLUS to pick both up.
