Easily the second biggest game of 2008 next to GTA4. This game will pwn all the imitators just like the first one did. Please believe it!
Their are some reports that Sony will never release a big screen oled. This tech is only for small screen electronics like laptops. To much money has already been pumped into LCD.
Plasmas are way better than LCD's. The only problem with Plasma's is the danger of burn-in. It is a good idea to break in your plasma for the first 200 hours with a break-in dvd or looping a dvd like Planet Earth. After that it's aaaaaaaall gravy.
As long as the new Xbox is about 100 times better than the 360 than I'll be in line Day 1. I don't want a crap upgrade like the gamecube and wii.
Lost Planet was not a failure and actually a very successful game. I bet you were one of those kids that signed the petition to keep DMC sony exclusive, huh?

The ps3 should give the 360 Lair and that way they'll be even on trading crap games.
Well the main reason why the ps3 is doing so well is not the games or the online service but the bluray player. 3 people in my family own a ps3 just for that reason. My girlfriend's family owns 2 ps3 players. That's 5 people that own a ps3 player with zero games. MGS4 is not a system seller, never was and never will. Gears 2 will be the second biggest game of 2008 next to GTA of course. And if history teaches us anything...sequals to successful games always sells more...including hardwar...
MGS was never a huge selling franchise. It definitely won't hit Gears or Halo sales numbers. And if you think Resistance 2 is going to kill Gears 2 because of its multiplayer...well the first Resistance had 40 players online and the first Gears had 8 players online and Gears still crushed Resistance in every best multiplayer award.
People that actually believe that the ps3 will ever catch up is just wishful thinking on sony fanboys. Fact is they will have to outsell the 360 by a far margin for about 5 years to catch up. 7 to 8 million is huge lead. It's a done deal, the 360 has won. The ps3 will probably catch up once the new xbox comes out but by than the xbox will already be working on the next gen while the ps3 is still left behind to catch up.

of course the 360 will sell more because of the bigger userbase. The real story was which version is better, not which version sold more. It's old news that the 360 version slightly edges out the ps3 version. Enough of GTA, time to move on...

So alot of people bring up Resistance 2's multiplayer being way better because it has 60 players online and dedicated servers vs. Gears of War 2 10 players. Well the first Resistance had 40 players online with dedicated servers and Gears of War only had 8 players online and Gears of War still crushed Resistance in all best multiplayer awards. Same will happen again.
Doom 3 was a fantastic game and one of the best fps I ever played. Got very high reviews too. Don't know why you don't like it.
Wow I thought for sure GTA would take the crown. Just proves that Halo 3 was a monster of a hit. I guess it's official that nothing will break Halo 3's record. Atleast till Halo: Chronicles hits in late 2009. :)
Resistance??? LMAO. The first Resistance had 40 players online and it still got completely destroyed by Gears of War. Gears of War 2 will do the same. No question.
