I can't say that I'm surprised. After seeing all those gameplay videos I was pretty convinced that this was going to be a flop. Looks like I was right. Only ones that were praising this game was the sony fanboys because it was "exclusive."

Your forgot the numerous spin-offs like the horrible "Dirge of Cerberus." Their are tons of games like Kingdom Hearts that uses the same characters and themes of FF. Looks like Square Enix is milking this cow to the bone. Isn't their a FF fight game coming out for the ps3??? LMAO!

The FF series is easily the most worn-out franchise of all time. I personally like the CGI movies of the games but the actual gameplay sucks. Every game is the same. Same silly metrosexual characters. The same badass character. And the same chick with bunny ears. I'm good at just watching the CGI parts on youtube.
People are actually throwing Halo in this mix? Last I checked their were only 3 Halo's and about 56 FF's.
Shadow of the Colossus 2 for the ps3 will definitely be a must buy. I just hope the bosses look different. Boss battles got a lil boring after awhile.
You guys do realize that Stephen Chow is making this movie. This movie is going to ROCK!!!!! The casting might be a lil off tho. Is that cute asian girl from the Real World? And that Yamcha guy would look better as Vegeta. Chow Yun Fat is a bad fit for Master Roshi. Oh well....I'm sure Stephen Chow will add the sillyness and action of DBZ.

Didn't I also say Lair, Heavenly Sword, and Eye of Judgement also? I guess you missed that. The ps3's exclusive track record is pretty sorry compared to the 360. All those "promising" games you mention will probably have the same fate as the other flops did.
Actually Halo 3 has almost three times more individuals playing Halo 3 than COD4 because of the splitscreens but they dont count that in the total multiplayer counts. Halo 3 is still number 1.

I respect all your disagrees but I have to humbly disagree to both of you. Lil Big Planet does look to do different things and has a nice amount of hype but personally I don't think it will do well since it caters to a small percentage of gamers. I don't know much about COD5 but if it's like COD4 than it will no way be better than Gears 2. COD4 is alot of fun but to cheap and easy. MGS Online is a mess and Resistance 2 looks to be just another mindless fragfest, just like the first one. ...
The 360 has a better exclusive track record. Games like Bioshock, Gears of War, Mass Effect, etc...have all proven AAA titles. While the ps3's exclusive track record dissapoints: Heavenly Sword, Lair, Eye of Judgement, etc... and now you can add another failure in the ps3's library and that is Haze. The only people that dislike comparisons are the sony fanboys. The 360 continuously wins in the comparison battles. GTA4 being the latest game. Sooner or later you are going to just have to admit that the 360 is the better machine.
I read an article saying that all the free promotions were added to bluray disc sales. And their were many promotions giving out 5-10 bluray movies if you purchased a bluray player. Looks like bluray is going to be another lazer disc.
