…which is exactly what he just said - “it’s not free”.
Always find it funny that these games get award nominations when not are they not released yet but in some cases the games haven’t even been made yet.
The suits completely missing the point as always. Literally nobody wants an annual BF game.
@Kornholic
My collection of Battlefield games goes back 23 years. You clearly don't have much, if any experience with the series.
I literally own every single Battlefield game and the old expansion packs. The only one I’ve never had is the original 2142.
You’re a moron. This is not Battlefield.
Yea, after playing for the entire beta it’s essentially COD 2.0.
There’s very little BF DNA left in it. There’s tiny glimpses of it here and there but at some points throughout the past two weekends I’ve been thinking to myself “wow, this is absolute garbage” then other points I’m thinking “no, it’s actually alright you know”. At no point have I thought it’s brilliant though. It’s just missing too much of that core BF feeling.
It’s just way too small and...
I stopped playing it after 2 weeks…. It’s Mario Kart, there’s not much to it. It’s insane to think they were trying to sell it on its own for £80 though. That’s mental!
Some YouTuber (Loser) makes an issue that the game has no swimming mechanic... Then you see suddenly start seeing odd people that creep out the woodwork and run with it like it means something...
...Why would you try to promote that song as if it was some great feature...!!???
WOW that was unbearable! Whole trailer was utter garbage.
People are in for a treat. Haven’t played it in a while but I must of sunk hundreds if not thousands of hours into this on pc - and to think is F2P is insane.
I genuinely enjoyed it that much that I physically searched for a season pass to support them. But I couldn’t find one. However the MT are insanely priced. I would never pay for MT in any game regardless but a single weapon is like almost £20 in this game.
I loved the size of the levels in 2042, it was just that the level design was pretty crap.
Agreed, DICE have never released a game without extremely serious multiplayer issues at launch. Nearly all Battlefields have had some form of issues that has in some cases stopped the game from running at all for the first 3 months on pc releases.
I’ve found loads of bugs in the beta so far but the good news is it still feels a bit more solid than past releases however, like i said, the full game release usually takes many steps back from the earlier betas.
Really enjoy DF and genuinely believe they’re a league ahead of 95% of the gaming content on the internet. They’re clearly top of the game in the industry and have been for a long, long time now.
Hope to see them continue this for a very long time to come.
The Mafia series is fantastic I’ve loved them all. Even thought 3 was excellent but seems others didn’t. The whole series has a certain quality to them that is overlooked by most games that give them a solid genuine feel about them.
Tried 2042 again last night, it still runs and looks like garbage. The ball was dropped so unbelievably hard with that game it’s kinda unreal.
While I understand and agree on the theory of it. I also think it’s totally unacceptable to ask consumers to require this. As many people are going to have to upgrade parts etc just for this reason.
If it actually worked it would maybe be another story but if you’re asking the consumer to do this and you do find any cheating at all going on then repercussions should be taken as you’re then entering into a service. You’re physically making alterations to your hardware in or...
Sorry, so used to modern day “leaks” that I thought this was released direct from DICE themselves.
What’s with the random bright purple environment objects… weird graphical bug?
?? Let me break it down..
“New cpu makes game run faster”
“Best cpu provides best performance”
Well done Sherlock. You’re the audience the article is aiming at.
I’m one of those people. After playing COD 2.0 *cough* sorry, BF6. I’ve gone back to 2042 seeking proper BF sized maps. Managed to find out what was causing all my graphical, framerate and sound issues - bizarrely, Steel Series headphone drivers and software. Completely removed them and the game now runs flawlessly and looks great. Dare I say it, it’s not that bad!
I’ve owned it since launch and I’m only now unlocking attachments for my weapons etc. the vast majority of the...
