It’s great I play it everyday and have done since launch. Funnily enough the only thing holding it back is Nintendo themselves with their ridiculous pricing decisions. Whether that be games, updates or peripherals. Luckily for nintendo it’s actually their 3rd party devs that are making it a hit!
Still doesn’t appear to exist at all on the UK store even when accessing directly from Switch 2.
Just bought it, in order to see whether you can upgrade in-game but nothing at all.
DK Bananza is great. The others are not…. It’s just a list of Nintendo’s biggest hitters which the majority have been critically panned by real gamers…. Then there’s Pokémon in 1st place 😂

Other outlets are reporting this patch doesn’t “Fix” anything it just makes the latency and framerate marginally better. It’s believed all the patch does is internally switch off VSync… Typically, the laziest method possible used by the developers!

Only reason I’ve touched my PS5 in 6-12 months is to play stardew valley because my daughter wants to play it with me. Other than that I’ve got no reason to play it. I haven’t actually played it myself just going by what I’ve seen and heard from SwitchUp mainly. It is a shame though because it looked right up my street.

It runs pretty terribly though and it seems to almost be a switch 1 game with a switch 2 sticker on it. From what I’ve seen, it doesn’t actually look like it’s able to achieve 30fps… I don’t mean stable 30fps. I mean just achieving 30fps in general. Which is a shame because it looks like a pretty good game.
Don’t know how this whole16 bit crazy prices theory gets so out of hand. As someone who’s owned almost every console/computer since the late ‘80s. Ignoring the 3DO, there was like a hand full of games that attempted to sell at ludicrous prices and it didn’t take long for them to return to normal.
Today’s prices are far higher and widely used. The industry has never been worse.
Seems we’ve fallen a long way over the past few years. £25 for a game that can be beaten within 1 hour.
