Don’t know why this repeatedly has to be said but sales figures that get released in this industry are always fabricated. It’s repeatably proven with them being caught out… usually by their own stupidity - Its always legit until someone finds out it’s not. I wish they’d do a proper switch 2 update for Tony Hawk 1+2 me and my 7 year old daughter love playing it in split screen and it plays great but it looks absolutely terrible. I would say it looks like the resolution drops down to about 540p in order to keep the framerate up.

I think there’s a lot of internal software issues with the battery management.
Sleep mode kills the battery almost as quick as playing games does. Playing switch 1 games seems to kill the battery faster than playing switch 2 games for the most part. Even playing a very, very basic switch 1 game seems to drain the battery much faster than I would expect it to.
It includes back compatibility fixes for more Switch 1 games…. It fixes Tony Hawk 1&2 if anyone has been waiting for that one.

Fair play to Nintendo for this direct. I had absolutely no interest in this game at all but they certainly showed it in a much better light this time around. I actually really liked the look of it…. No way in hell I’m paying Nintendo prices for it tho. Id buy it when they do their Nintendo £33 sales.

The problem is everything’s wrong with the price of the games, £80 for MK8 is absolutely ridiculous. Peripherals pricing is an absolute joke too.

Colour balance and motion blur are superb. It’s the HDR highlighting that’s poor but that’s compounded by the severe backlighting.
The colour balancing people are complaining about has nothing to do with the LCD on the switch it’s that the consoles HDR reference is based on HGiG and some (older/cheaper) TV’s aren’t compatible so when using it on their TVs there’s a mismatch of colours and brightness. It’s a tv issue.
It’ll be enabled as an added feature of the Switch 2 OLED…. (Joke)
