I agree. All versions are essentially the same. PS3 a bit less, PS4 a bit more sharp. If this is all the improvement, you can stick to old consoles without much to loose.

I agree on most things said in the article. I do like dowloads though, and the future won,t know of the physical copies. Hard drive space is becoming a non issue. It's cheap and you don't really need TBytes. However Nintendo have to guarantee that the product once bought is safely owned and change the price policy. It's called market economy. People will pay less for the same thing if they can and your shop will sink.

It's not just wii party u. It's wii fit u, sports club, sonic world, the whole bunch.

PS4 and xbox1 will have a hard time competing with the steambox if the price will be right. It will have it all + more that they have. WiiU could rise slowly and steadily in the meantime, and get the family market if Nintendo exclusives turn up right. The success of PS4 and xbox1 could depend on their entry sales, but it won't be that easy. Time will tell.
WiiU now (many great and not expensive games already+ bayonetta, x, project cars, mario kart and more coming soon). PS4 or the steambox when your fingers start to itch again down the line... unless you're a sports game or a kill'em all kind of fellow and COD alone won't do it for you.
Games are games, but this is a minor loss. WiiU still gets most of the season big hittters (Skylanders, Batman, COD, Disney Infinity, AC4...). The only real punches in the stomach of the system are heavyweight players like GTA, big sport franchises and important niche titles like Rocksmith etc. Nintendo should work harder or pay the dues if they must to get those, because they sell on every system. All the rest is really not that much to keep.
Not to mention Just dance series that does very well on Nintendo. They would be fools to drop it. Then again they might be fools...

Well when it comes to Nintendo, the games and the system are actually one. That's probably why the third parties struggle to arrive.
Well, you buy what you need more, and if you have time and bucks buy it all.
Metroid piece in Nintendo Land is phenomenal.
They should expand that thing.
It is really just for a few days of sale. Without the first weekend too. I would give it at least until the end of December for first conclusions.
