The gamepad is the best thing wii u. It's light, well designed and fast. When it is in range it never fails. It's also became my prefered internet device. It fits in hands better than any tablet. They just need to update the browser faster. The WiiU with no gamepad makes no sense.
The gamepad could be a long distance aiming device on a weapon, an instrument table or a gps device on a vehicle board, a periscope on a submarine, a monitor in a surveillance room or a studio. C'mon Nintendo, make us dream...
A Supermetroid shooter with spaceships and ground units just like in Nintendo Land. Make it online and you have a winner.
I think VC should have had the complete wii VC + wiiware long ago. They are even selling a miniWii without internet capability which actually is confusing. VC for WiiU continues to look like a lost opportunity. They need to put a lot onto it, and do it fast.
Or why not make a dogfight game with like... airplanes. Please leave mr Mario in the mushroom kingdom.
It netters. The gamepad screen should always be utilized. At least in 1st party games. I think it must be some kind of a prereleased version. If not I'm disappointed.
Agree in every way too. NES and SNES will not do the job. And the price must be lower. I am putting it on hold for now.
Definitively yes.
Like local multiplayer?
Get a WiiU today.
Hint: 8GB with a cheap ext.HD is your best choice,
but you have to include additional controllers if you don't own them already.
The article is indeed very good, and I share most of the points made. I don't think however that the Wii U is not in direct competition with other consoles. It is, and not only PS4 and Xbone, but also all the last gen ones including the Wii and the gaming PCs and even the handhelds and tablets to some point. The games that get released for the U are in direct competition with all similar games on all platforms. This is why Nintendo has to put accent on the strengths the Wii U has, and the...
Highly doubtful. It looked like Ubisoft is really into the Wii u version on this one from the beginning.
The system should have a bunch of new heavy hitters by summer, so nothing is lost. MK, SSB, DK, Bayonetta, X, Project Cars, Watch Dogs...Hopefully, they will announce more of it coming. I would think at least 4-5 new important 1st party titles for 2014.
If there is something, it won't come as software alone.
There is a correlation. Tablets are the gimmicks of this generation. You can see it in the way kids handle them. The market grew huge by now. Nintendo saw it coming, hence the gamepad. They will merge consoles with handhelds. It's the only way to go. In the same time they don't want to leave the motion remote behind and I applaud it. It resulted in a product that is utterly great, although hard to market. I think it will eventually, not without further investments, find broader audien...
I hope you guys nail it big time this time.
Nintendo is guilty for the Wii U going slow. lt's not that much the games. They are many by now. lt's the poor marketing in the west. Nintendo is not the One in trouble though, Sony is. Let's hope PS4 can do well in the long run. lt's one of the last healthy departments they have left. Nintendo can't go down easily. It's a bloody fortress.
When you think about more then 100 million ipads and android tablets sold last year the console market looks rather pathetic as a whole actually.
What if they don't? Lightning strikes? Angry birds get new Nintendo headquarters?
Injustice did too. Is it just superficiality or it's on purpose? Oh wait, it's a pattern.
The day Nintendo leaves the console market might be the last day of the console market. Sony + MS already made a step towards hybrid PC machines and 3rd parties would probably rather make only games for androids,PCs etc. as we speak. Nintendo is the console market until they stay exclusively 1st party. I doubt PS4 and XBOne will do much better then WiiU in the long range. Eventually it will all just merge with the handhelds.
If every studio could match the speed and quality of Shin'an the market would be in bloom. I will get everything they produce. Congratulations to the team.
