COD Ghosts has the tactical audio engine, the reverb audio that BF does not have. Sound quality wise, both of them are good but COD Ghosts is better because of that environment effect.
Lets' see, BF4 has a domination mode, an all infantry capture bases mode on small maps. Ahem, it is exactly the same as COD's domination game mode.
BF3 introduced close quarters, all infantry close quarters combat similar to COD's play style.

The reasoning you both argued was the same old reason for the current gen, but this is next gen and next gen specs is comparable to a hign end gaming pc at the moment, if not better because consoles have custom components.
